  1. Try using a 12ga for a while, the neighbors will be happy to have you back to the 22.
  2. And none of them has posted since 1969 ?!? Me thinks that page is messed up......

    Wait what?

Do adults also have a choice which rest room or locker room to use? If one party of a gay couple declares themselves as the opposite sex does that make gay marriage legal? I can certainly see a lot of teens with raging hormones wanting to get into the showers with the opposite sex. At this point they might as well just make all rest rooms and lockers coed. I see nothing but problems coming.
  4. Forgotten why he is doing what??
  5. I have great fear that a very expensive day is coming in the not to distant future. I have a 12 year old laptop running XP Pro SP2. On that laptop is over $20K worth of software that will not run on any newer OS, even going to XP Pro SP3 does not work. Tried Linux with XP emulation, tried win 7 with XP emulation, but they did not run this software either. It will require buying all new software for what is available in newer versions. And the software that I still need that is from companies no longer in business. I'll be SOL.
  6. At least it has tire chains front and rear.
  7. Dan my condolences, I'm sorry to hear this.
  8. As far as I know all lasers and water jet machines work from a digital file. I do not have access to a laser or water jet machine, but I do have the ability to draw it up to create the digital file.
  9. A group of women were at a seminar discussing how to live in a loving relationship with their husbands. The women were asked, "How many of you love your husband?" All the women raised their hands. Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?" Some women answered today, a few yesterday, and some couldn't remember. The women were then told to take out their cell phones and text their husband: "I love you, sweetheart." The women were then told to exchange phones with another person, and to read aloud the text message they received, in response. Here are some of the replies: 1. Who the hell is this? 2. Hey, mother of my children, are you sick or what? 3. Yeh, and I love you too. What's up?? 4. What now? Did you wreck the car again? 5. I don't understand what you mean? 6. What the sh_ _ did you do now? 7. ?!? 8. Don't beat around the bush, just tell me how much you need? 9. Am I dreaming? 10. If you don't tell me who this message is actually for, someone will die. 11. I thought we agreed you wouldn't drink during the day. 12. Your mother is coming to stay with us, isn't she??
  10. My thoughts were the same as Bobs. $100 sounds like a lot for a "clamp", how hard can it be to make?
  11. You might need 2 wheelbarrows full of cash. It is interesting to see a pair of legs drop out the bottom. I could not find any specs on the website, I'm curious as to the weight.
  12. HINT???? Heavy dose......
  13. As mentioned many times above. It all depends on what you will use it for. Diesels like to work hard gas don't. I just bought a new to me truck last spring, I did a lot of research into a diesel. Pros Slightly better MPG. Will run forever with proper care and feeding. Lots of bottom end torque to get things moving. MPG does not drop much when loaded heavy. Cons Higher fuel cost resulting in more $ per mile. Higher maintenance cost. Does not like being used as a daily driver with no load. Cold weather issues. Diesel fuel really stinks, and does not easily wash out of clothes if you spill some. Noisy, they all sound like a box of rocks when running. I ended up getting a 2011, Chevy 1500, Extended Cab, 4 door, 8' Box, 5.3L gas, 6 speed automatic, 4x4, and it was even Red. I found this one used, 2 years old, with only 8500 on the clock, for half the cost of new. It does everything that I need a truck to do.
  14. Are you going to ride your bike all the way to Hawaii?
  15. You have to start at the beginning. What is the battery voltage with the ignition off? Battery voltage with ignition on?
  16. Good for you both. I hope you are at least going while there is still snow on the ground at home.
  17. YES!!! Please:thumbsup: I need your PP address.
  18. Neither your shed or roof came by here. You roof may have gone to the same place mine did last winter..... I had to to that over the weekend. Started the bike and let it warm up thru two cycles of the cooling fan. It sat out in all of that Arctic Vortex -20° crap, has not even been seen by human eyes since last October, no charger or tender, started right up after 2 cycles of the switch to fill the float bowls. Sure felt good to at least hear it run. If it ever warms up at least a little, I really should start doing my winter upgrade plans.
  19. I tried to join the AF right out of high school. I took the aptitude tests, scored in the top 1%, and they told me I can go into anything I want. I did not pass the physical because of my size 13 flat feet. They said you can not run with flat feet and they only have boots up to size 12. I really wanted to be a fighter pilot...... Thanks to all of you that were accepted and were able to serve.
  20. Just make sure all of your guns are properly prepared....... How are you getting down there. If you are driving then build a styro box in the back of your vehicle for the meat, have it frozen to start and add dry ice as required along the way to keep it frozen. If you have to ship it, a syro lined box and dry ice will keep things cool, you may want to consider a faster shipping method like 2nd day or third day. I would also check with your government to see if there are any issues with bringing the meat over the boarder. I do not know about wild boar but I know there are a bunch of rules for deer just to cross state lines in the USA.
  21. You mention the floor that is already there. Is this a shed that is already built that you are moving to your place, or one that you will be building? If possible I would do a cement slab for the floor, years down the road you will be glad you did. If it must be wood floor make sure it is all pressure treated wood with a very good structure under it. regular wood or insufficient structure and the bike may fall through over time. We have 2 identical sheds, 12 x 20, one with a wood floor and one with a concrete slab. After 10 years we just had to move the one shed and tear out the wood floor and pour a new slab. the lawn tractor fell thru the wood floor. The shed with the slab still looks like new. The new slab was $2800 a new wood floor would have been $1200, and last another 10 years. the original slab for the other shed was $2200 and the original wood floor was $500.

    Why?

Why is Bob such a trouble maker..........
  23. So to answer the original question, It appears that you are alone. Every thing that I do at work on our T1 line with all of its front end protection is way slower than anything I do at home on my 12 year old laptop with XP Pro and DSL.
  24. I have my boss right on the edge of pulling the trigger so to speak on a 3D printer for me to play ,,,,, I mean make working prototypes with.
  25. MANY MANY years ago I was going down a country road and the headlight bulb burned out in such away that the broken filament shorted the low beam side and it blew the main fuse. It got real dark and real quiet suddenly at 65 mph. So I can see what you are saying. You could add in a timer relay that will turn off the running lights 10 minutes after the power is removed. This would be wired direct to the battery and the normal operation would turn on off with the switch. This way IF you ever forgot to turn off the running lights they will only be on 10 minutes at most. If the main fuse blows, you are not going to ride very far unless you are going down a mountain.
