  1. In Wisconsin anything with 2 or 3 wheels is a motorcycle and you would need a MC license to drive it, and have to obey all MC laws. It is an intriguing concept, at 84 MPG. I have a 42 mile commute.....
  2. + one more on a trailer. Either add a wheel chock or even add a couple of 2x4s to the bed to keep the wheels from trying to slide sideways. My P/U has an 8 foot bed and still would not try to load a venture in it. Your tailgate is not designed to hold that much weight, it could bend and drop the bike out the back.
  3. No bangin, no yellin. I have been really busy. I just FINISHED doing all of the deer processing. Got all of our medical crap down to a routine for now. Maybe next week I will have some time to PLAY a little. So far the crazy Kanuks have not found the door that I closed when I was up in the U P last month. Hopefully they wont find it any time soon. Still not sure just which one keeps leaving it open.......
  4. Can you spin the rear wheel? while it is jacked up? Does it make weird noises when you do? When you put it back together did you miss the front spline with the drive shaft?
  5. Well while I was nort der in da U P der eh. I plugged one of the leaks that seemed to be letting all of the cold air fall out of Kanucksvill way up nort der. It supposed to get up to fidy desgrees this weekend. Da snow will have to wait till I feel better. Still not sure which one o dem is the culprit what keeps leavin da dang gone back door open.
  6. All the wormin in the world wont help none. BUSTED......
  7. Puc I hope you studied for your test better than I did. Don, to be honest I only looked at the countdown page once just to see what it was. I for one will not miss it at all if it is gone.
  8. I don't know about fibbing on your scorecard....... only 27 times teasing VR members??????? You have more than that on just me alone. Won't even mention BongoBob or some of your other favorite targets. I may have to swivel my nozzles east north east to get a good white base to support the weight of the load of coal and dog doo you have coming..........
  9. I also started out with the RCBS Rock Chucker Kit, I still use it a lot. Yes the price of reloading components has gone way up, But have you priced ammo in the store? I have an old Lee that I use for shotgun reloading. Max loads are seldom the most accurate for any gun. I usually prefer accuracy over raw power. But I figure that if I wear the gun out then I have a good excuses for a new gun. I generally sell my "worn out" guns to a hunter that will only put a few rounds a year thru it. I call a gun "worn out" when it will no longer shoot sub MOA groups. Most people that I have sold my "worn out" guns to have said it was the most accurate gun they ever had. I have always enjoyed reloading.
  10. The exhaust pipes are the standard way to lift a 1st gen.
  11. That is why I am developing an adjustable block off plate for the MKII (because I have a MKII). There are some with the MKII that love it and others that hate it. Now it will adjustable from full open to full closed or anywhere in between, and you will still be able to loose the big ugly EAD solenoids.
  12. The Muzzy fan looks like it might flow more air when it is running, but it also looks like it will block more air when it is not running. Meaning the fan will need to run more often and/or longer. I guess the real question is why do you need a better fan? The stock fan cools things down pretty quick even in 100+ heat. If it is electrical load that you are trying to reduce, then you need a more efficient motor, not a different fan blade. A fan blade that moves more air will also pull more amps, more amps could cook the fan motor.
  13. There are some that have done the AD block off and loved it, there are some that have done the AD block off and hated it. One of my winter projects is to install the progressive front springs. I have designed a set of block off plates that have an adjustable bypass so I can tune it anywhere from full open to full closed. We shall see how it works next spring when I can get the bike out on the road again.
  14. So what was the solution for those of us that were watching this?

  17. Thanks for the warning......... I mean will be glad to see ya.
  18. Whew, I was beginning to think I had 404 error etched into my spectacles. I guess I'll go out in the shed to play for a while while you are busy playing.
  19. I have always had difficulty with being nice........ I would probably end up tung tied with so many possible smart ass comments all fighting for the fore front......
  20. I would guess that once you get it the way you want it you could spray on a flat clear coat. I have been seeing the rust look on a bunch of cars lately. It looks like they just took a DA sander and removed all paint and then let the Wisconsin winter and road salt take over. To each his own but rust is not my thing.
  21. Woke you up so fast that you double posted..........
  22. A younger man walking by with his girl, trying to impress her with his bike knowledge says. "Nice Honda Gold Wing"
  23. It was our pleasure taking your virginity........... I will be on a little later tonight, but I will be there.
  24. To late, someone is way ahead of you on the swamp. prolly that ole Puc dude. He likes to cause trouble as much as I do..
  25. Around here they are doing preemptive salt strikes. They have tanker trucks spraying the clean dry roads with a salt/water mix. Supposedly that is so that the salt will just sit there waiting for some snow. Since you miss snow so much I'll have to see what I can do to get you guys some snow.
