  6. Is this a case of great minds think alike, OR are you starting to become more like me....... I still think Puc and I have the best idea. That's why I said get a gas card, Puc would spend it on stickers.......
  7. The control box still has to be connected to the bikes wiring and now you are adding batteries to power the lights. I think it would be easier to just wire up some lights, and have it done right once and for all with no batteries to keep replacing.
  8. I would say buy a gas card and start chasing the front wheel till the card is used up.

  10. A tender is not a charger. If the battery was already low it needs to be charged before the tender can do much. Check for clean terminals, put a charger on the battery. If no start take the battery to most any auto parts store and they will load test it for free.
  11. I wish I had half of your ambition to get working on the bike. Last weekend I finally got it up on the center stand so I can start working on things........

  14. That looks like a lot of fun. Well maybe 40 years ago when I was still immortal and indestructible.
  15. If you buy your parts from Skydoc_17 he has a shim kit with tool that he loans out. Or there is someone on here selling the valve shim tool.......
  16. If it is only Avast popups that you are getting then you may need to turn them off in Avast. Open Avast Goto "Settings" Goto "Popups" Set "Info popups" and "Update popups" to 1 Goto "Silent/Gaming Mode" Check both boxes. This may help with slowing down the Avast popups.

  18. The OEM is nice, But it is not designed to be used with a passenger. The aftermarket ones can be used with a passenger.
  19. :sign yeah that: In Alabama....... or does Honda use that cheap of plastic..... I'm just wondering if something else damaged the seat and you just noticed it now. My 28 year old 1st gen seat holds up just fine to me sitting on it and making motorcycle noises even in sub zero temps. Yes bad case of PMS.......

  21. One other thing to be aware of. While Malewarebytes is a great program for removing malware once it is on your computer, it does not offer protection from getting it in the first place. You still need an anti virus program like your Avast to try to stop it from getting there in the first place. There is no single program that is able to kill all viruses, that is why you often need several in your arsenal.
  22. You will still have some air in the system that will need to be bled out. It may only take one pump to get all of the air out, but there will be some to get out. The inside of the speed bleeder will not have any brake fluid in it until you bleed it out.
