Cool We still need progress Pics. We all love pics, especially of something different. I've never seen an apocacycle in person. -

Here is the thread I was thinking of. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/second-generation-venture-tech-talk/87556-fuel-pump.html This was for a 2nd gen, Now I am not sure if the same pump and parts apply to your 83. -
Seems like only yesterday, lets go back to where it all began...

Ah yes the way back machine. I had a mid 70s KZ750 with the Windjammer fairing and lowers. I added saddle bags and a trunk. I have no old pics of that bike. -

The clutch switch is used to cancle the cruise control if you pull in the clutch, AND is part of a safety circuit that will not allow the bike to start in gear with the clutch engaged. You can live without the cruise. But if you ever accidentally bump the bike into gear (or if someone else did while it was parked) and hit the start button you will wish that the clutch switch was still working. As for parts, Are you building a rat bike out of it? Progress pictures please? As mentioned above. even parts that are not in perfect condition may have resale value to one of us that has been hunting for that part. -
Possibly a partly plugged vacuum port on that cylinder? And if it is partly plugged, WHY is it partly plugged?

There is a Mr Gasket replacement from local car parts store that a bunch of people have used that is a lot cheaper than OEM. I do not know the specific P/N. You can also buy replacement contacts and rebuild the pump. -
