  1. They are busy swishing water......... And holding the water glass.........
  2. And it did convert the smiley text to a real smiley at posting. Now I am set up with the Standard Editor. I still get the text version of the : duck: smiley that I am sure will post as the correct graphic. as to not being able to have more than 3 smileys in a row. That one is easy, there is a limit to how many consecutive characters you can have with out a space. if your string of smileys exceeds that number the system breaks the string of characters by adding in a space. the smiley that gets the space added is no longer correctly formatted so it shows up as text in the final post. I think this is so that no one uses any really big words to cornfuse us. and it did.
  3. This time I changed my settings to Basic text editor. Now as I am typing this the smiley that I used in the line above showed up as ": moon :" but with no spaces in it. I am assuming that once I post it will convert the the moon smiley to a real smiley.
  4. I have Firefox 35.0.1 running on Win XP. I usually just start typing in the quick reply box, when I click on a Smiley the smiley appears in real time. I wonder if some people might not have the full WYSIWYG editor selected. Time to test that theory...........

  6. Congrats, your gaining on me to, I am all done adding grand kids at 12. Let a new round of spoiling preparations begin.
  7. If a person uses the "contact seller" option, does the seller know if it is coming from a member or not without having to go search for the name in the member list? How about having it optional for the seller. Set up the classified so that a buyer can look at items for sale but can not contact the seller. If the seller wishes to be contacted by anyone they can include contact info in the description. The drawback to this is that the seller will have contact info where bots or weirdos can find it.
  8. Or was that some sort of a hint to some other ulterior motive........

  11. Not yet, an 88 is a collector bike, it wont be an antique till 2028, another 13 years. You do know we are just:stirthepot:
  12. If exercising the kill switch fixed the problem, it may be time to disassemble the kill switch to clean the contacts. After all an 04 RSV is now officially an old obsolete bike........
  13. hahahahahahahah I think you need to read your signature.......
  14. OK to give the PO some benefit of the doubt....... As the plug was being inserted into the plug hole it was not aligned correctly and the electrode caught on the top thread while at the same time some side load was applied while pulling it back out for another try??? A piece of debris managed to get past the intake valve, whack the plug, and make it back out the exhaust valve with no other damage??? That cylinder was way lean for a little while at high RPM and full throttle and it got hot enough to soften the electrode? Yes now I'm grasping at straws. Well OK I did say some benefit of the doubt ........
  15. Take the phone back to your provider. The store geek may be able to retrieve your contacts if you did not already do something to overwrite them.
  16. small block
  17. That is an interesting concept. But where would you sleep if Tippy is sleeping in the side car....... Under it maybe?
  18. Many years ago Walmart had an anti carry policy. That has since changed and some now OC at Walmart just because they can.
  19. AAAHHHHhhhhhhh........
  20. Most wives are not real happy about getting crabs........... Now stones on the other hand, Erika seemed to be quite pleased with the new set of rocks she now has.
  21. That sure brings back memories from when I got my 88 back in 07. My story is very similar.

  24. Just wishing all a happy Valentines day. It is good snuggling weather here. The "feels like" is at -25F with up to 40 MPH winds. I guess I will just have to stay home and keep my honey warm. :173: :173: :173: :173:
  25. My trucks get a lot of rash in the bed, it is not delivery but I do use it as a truck. I am not one of the city folk that buys a 4x4 truck just to be able to say I have a truck. But if the bed is perfect and scratch free you know the truck has probably not worked a day in its life. You can also look at the hitch an tell if it has spent a lot of time towing a trailer.
