  1. Not yet, an 88 is a collector bike, it wont be an antique till 2028, another 13 years. You do know we are just:stirthepot:
  2. If exercising the kill switch fixed the problem, it may be time to disassemble the kill switch to clean the contacts. After all an 04 RSV is now officially an old obsolete bike........
  3. hahahahahahahah I think you need to read your signature.......
  4. OK to give the PO some benefit of the doubt....... As the plug was being inserted into the plug hole it was not aligned correctly and the electrode caught on the top thread while at the same time some side load was applied while pulling it back out for another try??? A piece of debris managed to get past the intake valve, whack the plug, and make it back out the exhaust valve with no other damage??? That cylinder was way lean for a little while at high RPM and full throttle and it got hot enough to soften the electrode? Yes now I'm grasping at straws. Well OK I did say some benefit of the doubt ........
  5. Take the phone back to your provider. The store geek may be able to retrieve your contacts if you did not already do something to overwrite them.
  6. small block
  7. That is an interesting concept. But where would you sleep if Tippy is sleeping in the side car....... Under it maybe?
  8. Many years ago Walmart had an anti carry policy. That has since changed and some now OC at Walmart just because they can.
  9. AAAHHHHhhhhhhh........
  10. Most wives are not real happy about getting crabs........... Now stones on the other hand, Erika seemed to be quite pleased with the new set of rocks she now has.
  11. That sure brings back memories from when I got my 88 back in 07. My story is very similar.
  12. Shush, Don't tell everyone...........
  13. :duck: :duck::duck::duck:
  14. Just wishing all a happy Valentines day. It is good snuggling weather here. The "feels like" is at -25F with up to 40 MPH winds. I guess I will just have to stay home and keep my honey warm. :173: :173: :173: :173:
  15. My trucks get a lot of rash in the bed, it is not delivery but I do use it as a truck. I am not one of the city folk that buys a 4x4 truck just to be able to say I have a truck. But if the bed is perfect and scratch free you know the truck has probably not worked a day in its life. You can also look at the hitch an tell if it has spent a lot of time towing a trailer.
  16. But I just have to ask. Does Tippy ever stop smiling. She always looks so happy. Or is it that when she is not smiling you are to busy running to take pics? It always looks like you two are having a great time, glad we can join you.
  17. If you get the HF trailer you have an all new trailer, can do a bunch of upgrades like LEDs, cooler rack etc and still have $500+ to spend on gas chasing your front wheel all over the place.
  18. It is more jewelry than useful. Now my Gerber tool, it is rare that I go a whole day without using it somewhere.
  19. its actually not that hard to run up 100K+ doing delivery work in just 1 year. A friend of mine puts on 200K per year doing delivery work. He buys a new truck every 6 months, He can not have a breakdown cause a late delivery. If it is all highway miles there will be very small front end damage from road derbies. The front end will look kind of sand blasted and there will likely be some stone chips, a city driven car will not show this due to its lower speeds. There is no perfect rule of thumb, each vehicle must be evaluated on its own merits.
  20. Or at least needs to share a cell with the biggest ugliest guy in the prison so that his sex life will remain active for the rest of his life.......
  21. Why would you want to put a candle on the bike?????
  22. Valentines day will be a good day for snuggling.......
  23. It could have been a gas issue. Most internal combustion engines will make more power in cold because the air is denser, It is almost like super charging it. But then on the other hand, everything else needs more HP to work in the cold. The grease in the wheel bearings gets stiffer and takes more power to turn the wheels etc, this adds up from every moving part on the bike. The net result is usually it feels like there is less power. You are in Florida. What do you call cool weather? Anything above freezing is not even down to cool and should have no effect at all on how the bike runs.......
  24. Spring SNOWSTORMS!!!!!
  25. warm weather:cold:
