  2. There are at least a couple that do. It does go down from bumper to bumper traffic down to just really heavy traffic in the middle of the night........
  3. Its looking more and more like I will be caging it to Dons. Whether I cage or bike I usually leave Milwaukee around 3:am Friday morning so that I can be past Chicago and Illinois before those crazies wake up.
  4. I found your Snowlets I think you better ease up on using strange chemicals in the basement.......... I guess I may have to get a clothing attachment to send over some cloths for you to wear.......... COOL!! 8 more weeks to play!!!!!!!
  5. Ya know Puc I really don't think they mind who shows up, after all they are letting you and me show up...... Cha Its only a maintenance day, not a rebuild day..........
  6. The other common culprit is the contacts in the start switch. But I would start with the fuse box. Those factory fuse holders are really bad news.
  7. In addition to what you said Sync the carbs. Have a new set of plugs ready, heavy Seafoam will foul plugs. Check the date code on the tires. as well as look close for any sign of cracking. Change the engine oil, rear end oil and antifreeze. Fill the gas tank and go like hell..........

  9. The biggest problem is that most people that upgrade their lights never bother to aim them properly. I have been told that my HID is no more offensive than the stock headlight, but I do take the time to keep it properly aimed, and I do really like the extra visibility at night. It has saved me from more than one deer. I have never changed a headlight bulb, even replacing a stock bulb with the identical bulb, that did not need to have the aim adjusted. There are manufacturing tolerances on the bulb and the filament will always be in exactly the same place, hence the need to reaim. Aiming is especially important when changing the type of bulb. Most people that aim lights by themselves have them adjusted to high, which is hard on other drivers.
  10. That is your Karma train coming thru for at us poor frozen oldies......

  13. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf::rotf::rotf: :rotf::rotf: I'll bet your little fan does not have a snowper charger installed on it. This alters the laws of physics as most people know them. It even gets into the realm of fuzzy logic. With a properly calibrated snowper charger you can get a lot of blow with little to no suck. All of that white matter is coming from an alternate universe.

  15. I just hope the Reiny remembers to shut the door on his way out so that we can start warming back up down here.
  16. NO NO you have that all wrong, it does not suck, it blows......
  17. A lot of BSing spread everywhere. A lot of friendships started, friendships rekindled...... Maintenance of the soul is still maintenance.

  19. Its those Canadians I tell ya. They keep leaving the darn door open and letting all of that cold air spill out down here. I don't mind SNOW, in fact I even like it, but this sub zero temps has gotten quite old already. Would someone PLEASE go up there and shut the blasted door????? Maybe even nail it shut. Old Puc and I are working to track down which one of you it is that keeps leaving the door open, we are getting closer. Sheesh, worse than a bunch of kids.......
  20. I learned a long time ago that I can get into a lot more trouble, and have a lot more fun, not to mention sometimes get in some good sprinting exercise, by never assuming what anyone meant..........
  21. Ya do know that if all of you Canadians that seem to have born in a barn would learn to close the door, that would cut off my supply of cold air that I need to run my magical machines.
  22. Is there a feature for calibrating the sensors? I noticed on the one above and in some other pics that they are all slightly different readings not hooked up. or is that just an at rest thing and they will all read the same when hooked to a single vacuum source?
  23. There was a case here where a guy always open carried. Several times he had a muzzle against the back of his neck and the only thing he could do was to give them his gun. Open carry in an area that open carry is common is fine. Open carry in an area where it is not common is a target. If there is something bad going down, the bad guy already has his gun out, any open carry will be watched very close and shot the moment they move, or just shot out rite to eliminate the threat. As mentioned, I prefer the element of surprise.
