  1. I actually use some of that boiler plate in my adds. It actually seems to help cut down on the pin heads.
  2. It could be. Those 3 bolts are supposed to be red loctite AND staked to keep them tight. If they came loose the holes may have become slightly enlarged but not enough to show visible cracking yet. Simply tightening them will not keep them in. You may have to get new bolts so that you can install them with red loctite and stake them in. Be sure to give the loctite at least 24 hours to reach full strength. It certainly is wort the cheap try. If you have to replace anything more than just the screws and the gasket, I would contact Dano to get the upgraded starter clutch.

  4. Since this weekend will be the first weekend of spring, I think some SNOW would be appropriate....... ...... Just for remembrance........
  5. OK Puc you asked for it...... Seeing as this is the first one of these to enter the USA I am doing a build thread on this for a couple of model aircraft forums. It also means that I will be doing a lot of learning as I go.
  6. Oy vey!
  7. WOW!!! I can't help but to say something, this just has me totally amazed. Tuesday March 17 at 10:27 am I made an internet purchase from Germany. The box to ship this was 4 feet x 5 feet x 8 inches, and weighed about 28 lbs. It was picked up at the sellers house by DHL International Express on Tuesday at 13:41 on 3-17-15. It was delivered to me today at 14:27 on 3-19-15. This just blows my mind that a big package can get from Germany to Wisconsin, with customs thrown in, in just 50 hours, 46 minutes. I mailed a USPS small flat rate box to travel just 90 miles and it took 5 days to get there. My hat is off to DHL for whatever they are doing, they are doing it right. In all fairness I must admit that when the tracking first came up online a few minutes after the package pickup. I laughed that it said the expected delivery was by the end of the day on 3-19-15. I figured no way in he11. I had this delivered to my work so that it would not be sitting in front of my house looking like a big flat screen TV. Now I am chomping at the bit to get home to open the big box and check out my new toys.

  9. At least it is back to running. Now you can go back to being a blow hard.......
  10. AND IF Kentucky wins 3 games....... If they both go that far, Wisconsin meets Kentucky in the final 4. If this game happens, winner will take it all.
  11. If you think about it, they are using radar to track the speed of a baseball or a hockey puck coming in at 100+ MPH. A bike should be no problem.
  12. I would start by insisting on the tracking number from Pinwall, They may have very well shipped it. Sometimes a call to the shipper with a tracking number can shake a package loose from wherever it is stuck. Some of the things that happen in the shipping world just amaze me. I can send a small Flat Rate package to someone 90 miles away and it takes 5 days to get there. I just ordered some stuff from Germany on March 17, The tracking says it will be delivered today March 19, The last tracking said it left the Cincinnati sort facility at 4:00 this morning, it is about a 6 hour drive time from Cincinnati to here. And this is a BIG box, 4' x 5' x 1'. A friend of mine used to own a fairly large mail order company, He finally stopped selling to Canada because 10% of the packages he sent up there never made it to their destination, just disappeared forever, of course being a responsible business, he had to eat the cost. USPS once delivered one of my packages to the wrong address, so the tracking said delivered. When I went down to the post office to find out what happened they were finally able to figure out that they delivered my package to the wrong address and that persons package was still sitting on their shelf waiting for pickup. USPS then tried to give me the other persons package and address to go there to make the exchange. There is no way I am going to some womans house to ask for my package back. I made the P.O. fix their own mistake. That could very easily have turned into a lost package never to be seen by me. It may have helped that when she opened my package it was a box full of electronic components that the vast majority of people would have no clue what they are or what to do with them, so had no value to her.
  13. No problem here either. What on your computer is the new resource hog......?
  14. NOOOoooo....... No Loctite anywhere near plastic. Loctite is as bad for plastic as brake fluid. Loctite will destroy some plastics. Our bikes use ABS plastic, ABS is one plastic that WILL be destroyed by Loctite. If you feel that a thread locker is necessary, I have used a small amount of RTV on the threads, this will not damage the plastic parts and will give the screws some resistance to coming out without making them difficult to remove when you want to. If you have that much vibration, when was the last time you synced the carbs?

  16. Just doing a quick Google search there are a lot of portable oxygen concentrators available. There are a number of places that rent them, this would at least give you the opportunity to play with a few before you plunk down a pile of cash to buy one. Sorry I can't actually recommend one, I'm not quite bad enough yet to need one. Did you ask your doc for recommendations?
  17. First take the belt off and see if the motor spins freely and see if you can turn the compressor by hand. Motor should spin free the compressor will have some resistance to turning by hand. If either one does not turn you know where to head next. Some one has to ask the silly obvious question, when you got it did you put oil in the compressor crank case? Is there still oil in it?
  18. Check the ground wires to the instrument panel.
  19. I just made a large purchase from Germany, for the sake of convenience I had to break it into two payments. Both payments were around 900 euros each. In the 3 minutes that elapsed between the two payments, the exchange rate changed, and the first payment cost $13.68 more than the second one. Or at least that is what my CC said was the reason.
  20. Around here the police will only come to ticket if the owner of the property calls them. But they will write tickets for parking in a marked no parking area. The yellow lines are there to indicate no parking. Just because your vehicle fits does not make it legal.
  21. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: You mean the 1st gens disappearing ahead into the distance or pulling into the next DQ to wait for you.
  22. Here in WI the diamond lanes are for 2 or more people or motorcycles.
  23. I haven't seen my feet in a long time..... But now I have a lot of wrenching to do in not a lot of time. The 2 big jobs are probably a little much for a MD.
