  1. I'll bet Ol @cowpuc could strap gear all over that thing......
  2. There is also a kit available to replace the contacts in the fuel pump. The contacts are what usually wear out, especially if tapping on it gets it started again.
  3. After a battery change do you have to reprogram the key fobs to the car? Worth a try.
  4. Knew that tape deck was good for something.
  5. Same here. Went to see my Mom in the morning, took her out to brunch. Then stopped to see Grand Ma for a bit. Then went to see Erikas Mom in the afternoon and took her out to dinner. I guess I just can not get Momed out. And I was supposed to post here when???
  6. Obvious question, but have you tried contacting the places you found with sales info to see who they sell to? Best of luck to you.
  7. Before you put it away, take it apart and check the bore. I went thru a bunch of them trying to find one that was not pitted.
  8. When you see words that are blue and underlined in a post, that is a link.
  9. I thought you did not want blue???
  10. Nice job. But you need the wire harness adapter from @M61AMECH to get all of those splices out of the factory harness. Makes for a much neater more reliable job.
  11. For the money he is asking You can find a running bike that has not been crashed. Once things start getting bypassed like the kill switch, That is a big red flag.
  12. OH OH Your "news dropping" usually ends up with another dent in the bottom of the frying pan...... Or mysteriously broken ribs......... OR.................
  13. Some people have all the fun.
  14. And here I thought we were back to the beginning of April.........
  15. Are there backups of the site that you could go back and find the PM that said he was sending a check? Or use it for heat since we all know it is those Canadians that keep leaving the back door open allowing those polar vortexes and other cold air to come down here.
  16. That is kind of like asking what is the best oil, or tires. There are people that are very passionate on both sides of the discussion. I did the delink because twice in the same area, my yard, the grass was wet and when I touched the rear brake the front wheel locked and down I nearly went. You never want to touch the front brake on a slick surface, with the linked brakes you have no choice.
  17. That sounds just like my scenario. First the acident, then find heart problems while prepping for surgery. Then the blood thinners to prevent stroke. I been playing cardiac wars since October. At least with the ankle you will not have to run on the treadmill......... Good luck with all of this.
  18. Must be before my time......
  19. WOW!! Hope you heal up soon.
  20. I sure wish I could go fer a ride.
  21. Most halogens will not be blue unless the bulb has a blue coating. If they list a color number you want between 4,000K and 5,000K. Above 5,000K is where they start to get blue.
  22. So does this mean you got it apart? Or do we need dynamite to make the problem go away?
