I went in to the doc for my 4 week checkup. Initially I was told 6 weeks before I could start walking on it with the boot, Now at 4 weeks I am walking on it with the boot. The doc was and is amazed at how fast someone "MY AGE" is able to heal. She was very impressed with how everything looks, the x-rays looked wonderful. I have already got about 50% of my range of motion back, because I have been doing the prescribed exercises religiously. There was zero swelling which she said is also amazing. So the original estimate of not wearing a pair of shoes till May or June has been moved up to by the end of March possibly even early March. That will give me time to work on the bike and strengthen the leg back up so that I can safely ride by the time riding season starts. I did get to see pics of what was done. There are 2 main ligaments that hold the ankle together, one was torn completely in half and the other was torn 90+% with just a thread holding on. The doc did not know how I was able to walk into the hospital. I should have just fell down with nothing holding the foot bone to the leg bone. Things are looking up. Thanks again for all the pratyers and well wishes, I'm sure that they must have helped for someone "MY AGE" to heal so fast.

I think it is just that if you do not have a lightning fast internet connection it does take a while to load all of those pics. When I open a thread like that I head for the can and/or the fridge to give it time to load. It takes about 5-7 minutes for my snail connection to load all those links. My puter also seems to completely lock up while it is working so hard at all of the downloads. It is not actually locked up it is just really bogged down with the workload. Of course it is Pucs fault. If we did not pick on poor old Puc he would think we were mad at him.

Puc that is whats called collateral damages. Just one of the perks of living close to me. Besides, it was obvious to me that Dan is getting exactly what he was begging for, just like you do.

Gas/diesel will still be around for the rest of my lifetime. There is no other technology in existence that can compete. The electrics and other technologies that are now available to not have the needed range, performance, or refuelability, or reliability of gas/diesel. Any new tech that does make it to mainstream will take a long time to replace the old. I would not waste time worrying about something that has not yet been invented.

Yup what Puc said. You do not add the underline, the viewers computer does that if it is set to underline links. Putting the @ in front of Puc does nothing because this sire does not have a person named Puc. Capitalization is not important and it will change what you have typed to match the capitalization that the user entered.

Well I finally hired a handyman today to clear my snow for the rest of the winter. The biggest obstacle that I ran into was that everyone was booked and had no room for additional customers. The ones that did have room for more jobs were very expensive at $50 - $75 per snowfall. The handyman that I found was a recommendation that filtered thru several different people that I had feelers out to he did work for a friend of a friend of my sister. Fortunately for me he had a customer just a couple of blocks from me that passed away around Christmas and the kids sold his house quick so the handyman lost that account last week I called at just the right time to fill that slot. He was quite reasonable at $20 per snowfall, he will only come if it is over 2 inches. Because he will show up for 2 inches or more, I may have to replace the gaskets that are leaking on @cowpucs favorite machine so that I do not get as much local leakage while keeping Puc happy in his nice white world. I am now free to let er rip.

I would think I need one of those new V-Max things to ad some luggage and turn it into what Yamaha should have made in the first place. Good luck Tippy........... MMmmmmmmm.......... Hot Dogs...............
