I would love to find some pictures of this. I was searching around and saw a few on the forums but the angles didn't show much detail. eagleeye those are what I have been researching and my only concern is the knurling being correct for the rsmv clamps. I read the knurling on these handlebars is 3 1/2" on center. ace I looked up and cables and hoses for the rstd from Yamaha parts warehouse will run me around $200 shipped. Are these going to give me the slack I need or are they going to still look tight. And what about the electrical, do you think I will have to lengthen the switch housing harnesses? thanks for the replies and direction

I would trade my venture and my left --- for that wing hope me I didn't affend anyone. -
I'm looking into a different set of handlebars. I know it's not the norm for the style of bike we ride but I have been very fond of the look. I'm afraid to say it cause half you are going to hit the back button on your browser. I think if I can figure out the length of hoses and cables I need I'm ordering a set of 10" bobber style ape hangers here is a picture I found of a Harley and the different heights of what I'm looking for.

Great adVENTURE replied to AlbertaClipper's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I was curious about this so I took a look. My AIS is still hooked up and functioning but it appears the vacuum ports are connected together with a t fitting also. Any issues with this? -
Fuel petcock

FEW! was sweeting bullets there for a minute thinking how my seat mod just cost me an additional $71 for a petcock. Do you think its advisable to maybe put a small amount of jb weld on the brass then tap her home? -
Has this ever happened to anyone or is this normal for the brass nipple insert to just freely pull of the petcock? Any ideas on what to do now? Long story short is I took my seats off to get them butlerized and took that opportunity to pull the tank and change the plugs and what not.

I just got finished mounting new Michelin Commander II's front and rear, lubed the drive shaft, and replaced the final drive gear oil. I can't believe the difference the smaller front tire gives me, it's like a whole different bike. I can whip the bike around in figure eights like its 500lbs lighter. And of course the satisfaction of doing it myself really puts a smile on my face. Thanks to all who have posted how to's and all the discussions that give so detailed and experienced information to make this possible. Also we got a set of Sena SMH10 Bluetooth headsets and we're loving them. Still trying to find a helmet that I can be happy with, taking a lot longer than expect since there are very few bike shops that carry a decent inventory. Ride safe!

Found this little beauty out in front of the Elks Club in Long Branch, NJ If this counts as the BULL ELK then the next item will be a Leprechaun, Rainbow, or a pot of gold. May the luck of the Irish be with you all

But when it comes down to he said she said and they can't testify cause there dead, who's to know they were invited in. When i got my firearms i was told by a close friend (high ranking official) if you have to shoot, sadly shoot to kill. If you wound an intruder this day and age they can and most likely will sue you and you could be doing time.

A few years ago just before christmas my mother in law went to the bank and when she came out and drove away realized she had a flat tire on the passenger side. Just so happened before she could even get out to look after pulling over two men approached her and offered to change the tire. Well while one of them was helping her get the tire out of the trunk the other took her pocket book out of the car and walked away. The second man helping her in the trunk gave her some bs line that she didn't have the right tools and walked away. So not only did these scum bags steal her license, credit cards, check book, and cash for shopping but they destroyed her tire with a knife. Never being a victim before she never thought to notice what they were wearing or being able to give a positive id to what they looked like. This was a very hard lesson to learn but at least everything taken was replaceable. Gets my blood boiling even a few years later just thinking about it.

I just installed my baggershield and hopnel pouches and honestly not to thrilled with baggershield but the pouches are exellent. I emailed baggershield about the many issues I have with there product and hope they help me. As for the pouch it's great and very convient to swap back and forth as long as the baggershield operates properly. I want to give baggershield a chance to respond to me before I post my problems.

Well after 6+ weeks of no truck i finally got it back after the dealer held it hostage for 8K. Not happy but that was a lot better than the same time last years ransom of 18K. Well sad to say after about 4 weeks of setting everything up and getting comfortable and trusting it again I dropped it off at the dealer this morning. Lighter side i purchase a Baggershield and Hopnel 3 pouch windshield bag and will be posting a install video very soon.
