Gene, I have an 06 Roadliner I brought new in 07. It has given me 48,000 trouble free miles. Plenty of power. Very smooth ride. Handles really well. The only issue with the roadliner or Strat is it sometimes stalls when you pull the clutch in after riding at low rpms. Not always but sometimes. Turning the switch to off and then back on seems to correct the problem for a while. Some complain about the rear tire wear. I avg about 8,000 per rear tire. I have added Tsukayu saddle bags and a HD tour pack, as well as an the Ultimate Seats. Wife and I both love it. I had some pictures but can't seem to fine them at the moment. I'll post them once I fine them.

We live in Hillsboro Oh and travel 68 to Lexington all the time. It's really a great ride. Takes about two hrs. From Hillsboro to Columbus on 62 is about another hour or so depending on traffic. Both are really great rides. Chuck

I thought about Access as a UI. But I read some where that access is good for a small data bases, but it had it's problem handling large amount of data or operating in a network enviroment. Don't know how true that is, but I read that somewhere in my recent quest. I've been playing around with SQL Server 2005 Express and Visual Basic 2008 Express as they were free down loads. When your just "playing around" free is always a good thing! Any information you can pass along would be greatly appreciated! Chuck

I guess I should have said what Doss program I was using, Data Perfect. It was first introduced by Word Perfect. Then when Novell took over they tossed it aside. There is still a large group of people using it. It's been a good program for me. I still have four data bases in use today. I love it and wouldn't change but there are those who keep asking about a "windows program" and will not even consider anything connected to "DOSS". I'm just testing the waters right now. I'm not set on any one software. As I stated earlier, I know very little about SQL. What little I do know has been from "testing the waters". Another reason I've started looking into this is I going to have a total knee replacement this Friday. Thought this would give me something to do while I'm off work. Chuck

I have read in past post there are some here that work with SQL. So this questions is for them. First off let me say, I'm not a comupter expert by any means. What little knowledge I have is "self taught". I have built a few "DOS" data bases, some of which are still in use. But I feel it's time to look into a Window Data Base software. So, I am playing around with 2005 express (to use as a back end) and then some other software as the UI (any suggestion would be great!). Maybe with a little more time I could answer my own question, but no one ever said I was patience. So, here's my question. Does SQL allow field calulations? Or is this all done in Scripts and Queries? In DOS a formula could be enter right into a field that would perform calulations based on information that had been entered into other fields. I have scanned thru a book, but never saw any reference to this. Chuck

My current rear tire is a Dunlop 190/60R/17. This size is only made by Dunlop and Bridgestone. Avon makes a 180/60R/17. How much differents is there between a 190/60R/17 tire and a 180/60R/17 tire? From looking at a tire chart. The 190 and the 180 is the section width in mm. So one is 10 mm wider then the other? Could the 180 be used in place of the 190? What effect would there be?

Dan, We already made plans to be there next Saturday. Kim wants to do some shopping in Little Nashville. So we will forgo the ride after lunch, so she can do her thing. She has been real good about doing things with me. So this one is for her. Chuck

Dale, Thanks! for the info. This was a really great ride. We changed our ride a little. We Picked up 327 off 50. Worked our way up to Burr Oak State Park. Then took 555 back down to 50. Then picked up 124 and rode the Ohio River. 374 miles round trip. For anyone that has not been in this area. It is a great place to ride. I've not done the "Tail of the Dragon", but 555 is one curvey road!!! Chuck
