I had somebody pull out in front of me while turning left one day. I applied the front brake so hard that the forks went down and broke one clear one off on something. I removed the other so it would look balanced. I have never noticed the difference.

Do you think the HD dealer would allow me much on 2 Ventures

The R/R can also test good but be bad. If it tests bad it is definitely bad but the Yamaha procedure is to eliminate everything else and if there is still a problem replace the R/R. Symptoms sound a lot like what I had a couple of years ago that turned out to be the R/R. -
I have a very pretty Corbin in the attic. It looked good but was not comfortable.

It did look like he got carried away with the number of flags and banners he was flying. Probably a lot more drag than a small trailer.

There was a long running TV show starring Burt Reynolds and Marilu Henner based on Evening Shade.

Am I asking too little for my 03 Midnight?

Too late now. You have already priced it. -
Maybe they started on a 2 stroke and got in the habit to keep their plugs from fouling.

I have long thought that a lot of Harley's problems are because it is a rare Harley owner that leaves his bike stock. Stock is hard to beat with the RSV. Mine will roll over 100,000 miles pretty soon and still runs well. ( Knock on wood)

My daughter lives there so I have had to visit a couple of times. It seems to me that if the drivers there drove like they do most other places traffic would come to a standstill. I was impressed with the way every body does what they have to to get through and the cops seem to let them.

I was going to camp at Colter Bay 2 years ago on the way to Yellowstone. We made better time than expected so we just stopped and looked at what we were going to miss and went on to Yellowstone. Really looked like a nice campground.

Must be the coolness and not getting ridden as much because I am seeing the same thing. It happened on one of the other cylinders years ago and I ordered the little rubber seals. While I was waiting I put a couple of layers of good electrical tape over the seals to put added pressure on. It never has leaked so I never got around to putting the seal in. Planning to look at this one closer tomorrow.

Most of them around here drive several miles under the speed limit. I always figured they were trying to prove they were the gas mileage champions.

I need rear brake rotor
midnightventure replied to kyle's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I got one from Pinwall and it was fine. Picked one from a low mileage bike. -
I did mine a while back and found that having a rounded off 1x2 with a notch cut to fit over the air fitting helped me to reinstall the top caps. There is quite a bit of spring pressure.

Probably the tread pattern. The stock D404s acted like that on my bike whenit was brand new. 99000 miles now and I make sure the treads don't run straight with the tire.

There is a fellow named Mark Sampson that has ridden all over North America and videoed a lot. He doesn't use a Gopro but he just happens to be working on a tutorial on advrider.com. He has a lot of really good videos on his site. The tutorial is here. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=942809 His personal site is here if you want to sample his videos. http://www.bigdogadventures.com/

If the battery was actually dead but showed charged a few minutes after being put on a charger that is a pretty good sign the battery is shot. The previously suggested load test would be a good idea.

I think the unconditional surrender signed 9/2/1945 on the battleship Missouri pretty well took the place of a peace treaty with Japan. We completely whipped them and they have been friendly ever since as opposed to now days when we can't fight a real war with out the media creating a negative frenzy which causes the war to drag on and never really be settled.

If your torso is warm then the extremities stay warmer.

I used a Dillon RL550 for several years. Very good machine.

I received this email from Edsets and thought I would pass it on in case some of you were thinking about buying an Edsets product. This is our Winter newsletter, and we apologize for a technical problem with our web-hosting company that caused us to have to send this newsletter twice since their system failed to get them all sent. But we wanted to let you know quietly that we are offering a 15% Discount now to 2 Jan 14 [1.] EdSets is in the spirit of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Years. Joy is a universal human condition, and because EdSets customers live in over 40 countries worldwide, we're glad to be able share the joy of motorcycling and touring in the USA with the rest of the world. Did you know that folks in Finland, Iceland, and Norway use EdSets gear? In fact, EdSets are the only headset to make a 3.5 year world tour to over 35 countries, and the rider (Wheezy Rider, aka Peter Sever) had great things to say about his EdSets gear: Sounded great, never gave any problems, and were abused beyond the pale! It is a true blessing to be able to provide EdSets gear to people everywhere, and from our fans, we know that we're doing a good thing here. [2.] This is the best time yearly to save on EdSets products, and we've upped our previous discount from 10% to 15% because we know the economy is not exactly booming. EdSets make great gifts, and you can order gear for a friend of loved one, or even offer your favorite rider a gift certificate from EdSets if you're not sure what they would want. [3.] Starting today, when you add items to your shopping cart, you can use the Coupon field during checkout to add the code 'HoHoHo' during checkout and your discount applies automatically. [4.] Here at EdSets, cold weather means it's time to suit up with extra heavy protective gear, and it's also a good time to spend some quality time with maintenance on the bikes. Topping off fluids, setting tire pressures, and most importantly getting some of those mid-summer protein splats off the fairings that we never want to bother with during warm weather! I've heard that a dab of hydrogen peroxide helps! Ed tends to take a torque wrench to the nuts and bolts that are critical for safety. During heat and cold cycles, fasteners can work loose. If your EdSets gear needs any maintenance or repair, this is a good time to do it. Remember that you have a liberal 3-year warranty on your gear, the longest in the industry! Check your cables out, and make sure your speakers are both working, and test the mic as well. Many forget that you can test the mic by simply turning on the intercom and talking, the side-tone lets you know it's working as designed. On the website at EdSets.com, there's a troubleshooting guide there to help you isolate any problems. Look for it on the EdSets Library on the left side at the bottom, or click here: http://www.edsets.com/EdSets_3G_Testing_Guide.pdf [5.] For those who have been on the road, and didn't catch the news, we've introduced our new Thunderclap speakers to rave reviews. Everyone that tried them has praised them for clarity, power and the best thing is that they are still only 10mm thick like our blackface speakers, and only 4mm additional diameter, which means no problems installing them in most helmets. These speakers bring a new game to helmet audio: Powerful Bass and Treble with virtually no audible distortion even at max volume on any of the factory audio systems on any touring bike. They are so powerful, that you can put foam earplugs in and listen to the speakers at higher volume without causing hearing damage, and the bonus is that your audio will sound better than if you were riding down the road in a Cadillac! Check them out here: EdSets Thunderclap Thanks for reading, and please give us a call if you have any questions, inquiries, problems, or just want to talk about riding with audio gear! Is it a 2 stroke? I blew a hole in a RD250 piston running about 95 down a steep hill when I was a teenager.

amps times volts equals watts so watts divided by volts equals amps. That means you will be drawing 1.4 amps.

But if you can figure out what kind of remote it is you might be able to reprogram it for your door.

I put them on mine years ago and then started reading the horror stories. Went out and looked at the tire and sure enough it had a crack in it. After a fight to get it replaced that one also cracked very early. By then I was to fed up to try them again. Now I have used them on my smaller motorcycle with good luck but I will never use them on a heavy bike again.
