  1. that is much like asking how is the weather in the USA I know California is in drought and burning.... are you also?
  2. "white grease" you should be able to find it at auto parts stores. It is what is recommended for door hinges and alike as it can be cleaned off clothing. I buy it in spray form at Canadian Tire ..... Auto Zone, NAPA or similar in the USA I assume. and I guess the old 3in1 oil will do also... very fine light oil.
  3. So to look cool and to make sure they are hi-vis try looking at some of the 3M reflective products you can get from this site. I have great Black Flames on our helmets and they look great and reflect light day or night. You can get colored pin striping too.... if you want something custom drop them an email and maybe. http://www.reflectivedecals.com/
  4. Lori and I are just a couple years behind ya.... we may catch up
  5. I have a 2008 Wee-Strom and love it for commuting and blasting around.... Sad you have to trade the Venture but you gotta do what you gotta do.... Enjoy
  6. I saw it in July in Forks also
  7. back to solving the issue..... as a service tech 1. yes what is the load in amps on circuit ... amp-mate to test. 2. is the breaker "bad" ? 3. switch the wire from that breaker to the one above it.... does it still trip? 4. No to #3 swap breaker.... if yes find the appliance causing the tripping 5 take that appliance and connect it to a similarly loaded circuit and try it there. 6 is the appliance faulty? that would be my first service call.
  8. I am unsure about the USA but in Canada tires did not have to have date codes which are supposed to be a 4 digit code in and oval "window" on the side wall until around Y2K If this window does not exist then the tire is assumed to be PRE-Y2K I would not take them on a long or high speed trip.
  9. Puc, I am one of the lucky ones that has had the privilege of meeting you and Tippy, get well as I wish to meet up again sometime. Keep the shiny side up... or the sticker side as the case may be, and keep them laughing.
  10. Dunlop told me NO tire should be used beyond 7 years of date code on a motorcycle. Everyone will have an opinion.
  11. Starting to think this bike was a myth..... now collector you are permitted to update lighting. .. who knows. .. they may accept them as updates. Ebay will be about only place to find reflector .. been there done that. Oh and I do know of an 86 standard for sale in Sooke... parts maybe

  24. Dale, you can pick up some real good drain containers at Canadian Tire. I have 2 I keep around, when I change the fleets' oil I need 2. Then you can take the used oil back to the Canadian Tire for disposal also for free.
