wolo bad boy
kevin-vic-b.c. replied to kevin-vic-b.c.'s topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
It can be mounted where your current horn is mounted. Carbon_One sells a mounting bracket and a wiring harness as well. A plug and play set up I used and recommend. It almost fits where stock one is so i will check carbon one set thanks -
Where have any of you mounted the Bad Boy on your second gen?

:sign yeah that: :sign yeah that: :sign yeah that: :sign yeah that: But I used a 2x6 .... just seems more solid to me. If you need to take the front wheel off then you just put a small floor jack with a block of wood between it and the frame and lift it slightly. -
ummmmm facebook page?????? am I on it? Where? Maybe.

Dunlop told me.....5 to 6 years.... NO TIRE should be used beyond 7 years of manufacturing date. Take it or leave it but that is the manufacturer. ... what do they know? -
Petroleum Based Solvents?

If cleaning carbs I would go with Kerosene or Seafoam. If you want it in a spray can.... buy some motorcycle chain cleaner. These products will not harm any rubber bits -

I went to a memorial service yesterday for a rider that had lived in my city and we had coffee many times on "coffee nights" I guess we all know that IT could happen to us. Ben was a fun loving guy, loved his sport bike, had a few Ducati bikes. One he had that color change paint on it... so officer what color was the bike you saw speeding? Ben was an Engineer, he had worked for the local Transit authority here helping develop alternate fuel source transit options. When that job ended he moved to Atlanta Georgia to work for their Transit system. He had been there for a couple years, kept a long distance relationship with a lady that he ended up marrying and finally this June she was able to get a Visa to join him in Atlanta. They bought a home there, they were both lovers of the wind. On October 1st he and his wife were on on their bikes, stopped at a red light. A semi ran the light... from behind them. Ben was dragged by the truck and as it hit a car going through the intersection and ended up off the road. Ben was declared dead at the scene, his wife was knocked off her bike and suffered a minor injury. At Ben's memorial yesterday we were told Ben was a "hugger" so they asked us all to turn and hug someone beside us. Do me a favor.... hug someone today will ya. Kevin

I have the chrome bad boy.... in the package ready to install on my 03. I will let you know when I get to that job and connect it up. $60 for the chrome is much better than we pay in Canada. -

The local BMW motorcycle shop uses a company to wrap bikes frequently. Side bags scratched on trade in...wrap them. They have done complete color changes changes for customers.

great post Earl, funny how a guy would pay for ghost flames in a second but go cheap on the break pads or try to get that last few hundred miles out of those tires isn't it. I was once told by a mechanic when asked what is the best oil..... any oil is better than old or no oil so just change it

I have not heard of it but my recommendation would be to use something like a vise grip and pull up on the bolt as you turn it. Hopefully just the bolt stripped and you can put a washer or two under it .... not too tight when reinstalling it.... it wont go anywhere.

Only recommendation I can come up with is to find an Acupuncturist. Some think it is an odd thing but when it comes to pain I know it works on shoulders. Couple years back I could not sleep for the shoulder pain.... medical Dr. wanted to operate..... acupuncture made the pain go away. It works
