  5. Dug050, That is a 96 or 97 Royal Star Tour Classic. At least that's what it is in the US. Canada may be different. The Tour Deluxe's were 2 pipers. Here is a pic of my 97 RSTC.

  11. Did you have the footwarmer doors open? They do work. I routinely ride when temps are in the teens. With the Gerbings jacket liner, seat, grips and insulated boots First Gear killiminjaro jacket and Ht overpants I can ride all day.

  20. That is the method I used to haul mine from TX to Ga with no problems. Do NOT use the engine guards or saddlebag guards!
  21. Great looking bike! Welcome to the GW contingent of VR.org! Here's a little tip for anyone getting ready to trailer a wing or any other bike for that matter. Look into the correct way to do it FIRST. Count your blessings kitesquid. You were lucky to get that one home in one piece.

  25. During times of high inflation, people with their assets in cash are hurt the most. People with assets like real estate, gold or MOTORCYCLES etc fair better. In times of high inflation, it is actually good to owe money at a fixed interest rate because you are then paying off your loan with cheaper dollars, especially if your income keeps pace with inflation. It's not a good time to be on a fixed income though.
