  1. I'd say she's a keeper. The bike too!
  2. Here are the specs on an '06. RSV owners may want to cover your keyboard to keep from drooling all over it. http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/honda/honda_glx1800_gold_wing%2006.htm
  3. I had a new tire put on last week. Layed it down and took off the wheel as shown in the video. Mounting and dismounting took about 10 mins total.
  4. Here are some pictures. It is the square type reciever hitch with the removable tounge that holds the ball. The wiring harness has two parts and includes the trailer isolator that converts the 5 wire system on the bike to 6 wire for the trailer. It should be everything you need, plug and play. I paid $165 for the whole thing.
  5. Aimhigh, pm sent.
  6. If yall keep this up Don will have to add a Strat section to the forum.
  7. I'd spank that monkey!
  8. Nice bike! I sat on a new blacked out Strat Deluxe the other day. Sweeet.
  9. I've only had it since last Thanksgiving. Put 9k on since then. It was a wet and cold winter.
  10. Well GW'ers we've got our own section of the forum. Thanks Don! Now that we can come out of the closet how about posting some pics of your Wings? Here's a couple of mine. It's an '06 Airbag model with 29K mi on the odo.
  11. Lots of good used GL1800's out there and we even have our own section of the forum now!
  12. Can you get a dui on it?
  13. Hmmm...Looks like a case of putting the trailer before the bike.
  14. Finally an area for American made motorcycle owners.
  15. The older royals are well known for ignition switch failures. I would start there. No pun intended. Or possibly a starter relay. I would try jumping the battery and see what it does. A battery can seem ok and still be shot.
  16. It's good to see the vets get the recognition. Especially the Korean War vets. They aren't kidding when they call it "the forgotten war". My dad was a Korean vet.
  17. Well, do ya? http://www.flixxy.com/lucky-day.htm
  18. You can take I20 east to exit 114 then 441 all the way to Florida.
  19. I use a HF. For my use it seems ok but who knows for sure unless you take it to a calibration lab? Even with an expensive one your trusting the manufacturer. There are methods of roughly checking one. Clamp the handle in a vise and hang some weight from the socket end.
  20. Me two.:big-grin-emoticon:
  21. The only woman I ever trusted was mama... and daddy didn't trust HER.
  22. Yes, I have one with a light gray tint on my RSTC. Nice shield!
  23. Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the world of the wing!
