I have the Venture wings which mount the same way. Been on my bike for over 85,000 miles with no fairing cracks..Love my wings, wind out when cold and wind in when hot..

  10. It's time, My "86" may be up for sale.. I keep reading on this site that Yamaha has not, nor will not upgrade the RSV. Is there any hope on the horizon, for a bigger power plant, updated audio, bells and whistles etc.. I sat on a new Indian Roadmaster and fired it up..wow.. 111 cu inches and every creature comfort I would ever want. Do I keep waiting for the RSV of my dreams or...

  14. I have a binder full of maps,in the old days I copied sections of State maps ,marked my rides all by hand. Now I use online maps and using paint copy sections, trace my rides add notes such as hotels, resturaunts gas prices scenic stops etc, and then I attach a map quest sheet with all the mileages and routes. I am not much of a computer guru but it works for me.
