  1. I believe the ones on the Mk2 are about 5" and the optional ones for the Mk1 were shorter and probably around 3". Those ones are more rare and harder to find. By 86 all the Royales had CB but the Royales from 83 to 85 only had the CB as an option.. To install the CB out of an 86 or up in my 84 I had to move my CLASS and modify the upper fairing a bit to make it fit. Wayne
  2. Actually it depends on which province you are in... I'm paying about $750
  3. You go girl...! Sounds like fun. Maybe even therapeutic. Wayne
  4. Where are they running the specials? I don't see that on the motorkote site... OK never mind I just checked the original thread and it's there.... Thanks.... I'm going to order some
  5. Hey Dano: I don't know about everyone else but I live close to Marcarl and you could bundle mine with his if it will save you a few $ on shipping... If others live close to someone they could do the same... Wayne
  6. Just got caught up with this... payment sent... sorry about the delay.. Thanks Dan for the Great job you are doing here. These things take time and effort. Hope to see you and Rose again sometime soon. Wayne

  10. The blonde looks good. The hole in the left console in some cases has the drivers headset wire coming up through it with a rubber grommet filling in the rest of the hole. Some of us including me have installed a cigaret lighter type power outlet in that hole because it is a perfect fit. I got mine from a marine outlet and it is water tight as well as resistant to rust. You are gonna love this bike. Wayne
  11. Barney Miller.... dry humour and I loved it.../
  12. Hey Squeeze: It for sure goes to neutral even the neutral light comes on and I can then shift up to 2nd or down to 1st without a problem... I'm looking at the upgrade to the VMax unit to replace the round thingy with the pins. Thanks for that advice... I believe that is where the problem is. Wayne
  13. bump Ok somebody must know what could be causing this problem... HMMMM?
  14. Now that is a great idea and looks awsome... good work.
  15. Ok folks: You guys (n gals) are amazing and have helped me so much. Here we go again. Sometimes when downshifting it skips second and goes right to neutral from 3rd. Not all the time and seems to work more often than not but I believe it is getting worse. I know someone here will be able to tell me what the problem is. I don't have 2nd popping out on acceleration. Upshifting is smooth and never misses a beat. A few weeks ago I had to take the clutch cover off and have a look at the thingy with the pins. A couple of them were loose so I fixed that and all was good. Any ideas? HELP?? Wayne
  16. If you can't find anyone here on the site with a spare then you can get new ones from Sierra. http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp?prod=JM-YV-41 Wayne

  19. That looks very interesting. Light weight and practical. Seems like an excellent and versatile solution. Wayne
  20. Yes I have one that I'm not going to use. It's in perfect condition like new. Brown. My 84 is a blond and this is the perfect match but my navigator is too short so it bothers her legs and I cannot use it. Wayne
  21. I like it.. Dano it is.. It is simple and easier to remember... good choice.. Now waiting for the pictures of the new pipes installed... Wayne
  22. Let me get this straight... Hmmmmm.. You are having your bike painted but don't know what color?? You just took it to the shop and said "Surprise me"? Brave man. Wayne

  24. Finding the right words at a time like this is impossible. What a shock. He is in a better place but we are still here and will miss him dearly. Our prayers are for his family and friends. Wayne and Robin
  25. Well we pulled into the driveway about 5:30 this evening. Got up this morning around 8:00 and had to put on the rain gear to get the bike loaded up. Rained all the way home. Even had to stop a couple of times due to heavy rain. So in the morning when I left Arkansas it was 80 degrees and climbing. Was starting to get use to mid 90s and sun. Was 61 in Coldwater last night when we pulled into the motel. Yesterday stopped in Indianapolis to pick up a shield for my helmet. Really glad I did. Anyhow we had an AWSOME time with all you folks that made it. Those of you that didn't make it... that really sucks bad. Looking forward to the next one. Brad, Lonna, Hal and Gayle... it was great sharing a room with you guys. You are all so easy to get along with.. Loved getting to know you all better. Wrongway. (Allan and Dee).. Thanks again for letting us stay at your place on the way down. Looking forward to hanging out with you again sometime soon. When we started unpacking we found our room key.... Guess I'll have to mail it back Dan and Rose... Love you guys.. Had a great time with you.. I hear you are home safe and sound BUT I thought you were making a detour to Deals Gap on the way home??? I want to thank Squid for installing the rebuilt clutch master cylinder and thank Bob for supplying it. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks to Hal and Gayle for arranging the room for us.. Almost didn't make the trip. Ok I guess that's enough rambling for now.. Wayne
