  1. OK, just got another email from Dave..... Hi Dan, I only have enough pieces to make about 5 kits of connectors / terminals / cavity plugs. I my Accumax Parts contact gave me pricing and said he would honor that same pricing for you and you can go direct with him on that. All the info is below. Let me know when you are ready to do the regulators. Thanks! Be back later, Dan Are we still at the original 43? (44 minus Cap'n Eddie)? I'll get the shipping costs for the regs and the connector kits
  2. Dan, you'll never get to retire! You keep hurtin yourself so much off the job you got another 10 yrs to go now! We keep prayin for ya tho!
  3. Hi Jack, thanks for the reply. Are u saying to just use USPS for the Canadien shipments? Just wanna make sure. Dan
  4. Peg, please don't go! As I have personally witnessed and been a part of, what we do on here is one way to converse with each other, I truly enjoy that to a point of excess sometimes. But we must exercise good judgement with our postings. If a good, open and honest deliberation of our thoughts and beliefs is wanted, then show up to a rally, sit around at night with some libations and good friends from here and listen to the conversation flow! Those who were at the Hub sitting around the office almost every nite (specially Tuesday nite!), know what I mean!
  5. Just some weird dude from Central Indiana whose almost as crazy as the rest of you! (AKA Skinny Squidley, Vern, Jim Varney)
  6. Thanks for the advice guys, was gonna work on youse guys up Nort today, eh?! It'll be a small package, same size as a small USPS flat rate box. Now if I can get them to give me some free boxes......... I'll probably just invert the USPS boxes....... Just checked, they're pretty smart over there, the insides are printed with their logo all over........
  7. We could send Wrongway over there, but he'd probably get lost! Better luck if we talked Dee into it!
  8. Be careful out there Mini, we wouldn't want you to hurt too many of those idiots! Safe travels Dan
  9. Hey Curtis. Sorry to hear such an outcome, but the future is bright. I just want to say how much of a pleasure it was to meet you at the Rally, really enjoyed our conversations. It will great to see you the next time cancer free! Dan
  10. Hey Bill, maybe you'll work on it enuff to keep up with us next year at the Hub! Or was that RoadSofa puttin' you to sleep back there?! Dan

    TCI pix Yuck

Thats ugly! Should have a PG warning on there......... I gotta figure that one doesn't work, eh?
  12. Just received a reply from Dave at Indian Hi Dan, Sounds great! Let me check to see how many sets of connectors, crimp terminals, and cavity plugs I can provide and we’ll go from there. As I noted in my ebay description, some of the units were installed and have scratches on the bottom plate, but were never actually used. Of course, I will try to make sure I ship ones without scratches, especially since I pick / pack them myself. Once, everything is agreed, I’ll send an invoice through PayPal and ship through UPS Ground, which is 2 days from Charlotte to central Indiana. I will try to get back to you later today with the qty’s available. Also, at 50 units, the price would still be the same. If you want to go to 50 pcs, let me know. Thanks! Dave Will post as soon as he gets back to me
  13. See my post under your original thread
  14. You better buy that one or I will! Second gear is easy to fix, probably a pin is out in the shift cam is why it won't go into 4th or 5th. Only things you'll have to buy is the side cover gaskets, water pump upgrade (to steel impeller), new thrust washer and split clips. As we found out a couple of months ago, I would replace the "holder" that goes between the middle gear (pinion) drive spring and the tranny bearing on the driven axle (can explain later, read post from July on "The Grinder"). You may have a couple of shift forks that need replaced, won't know till you get in there. It WILL require you to pull the motor and split the case, not that big a deal. Good time to put in solid motor mounts (delrin or aluminum), clean the carbs properly, put zerk fittings in the rear shock links, etc. Overall, an EXCELLENT winter project if you've got the room to tear her down, I did the year after I got my Red. Be nice to see another one on the road! You've got plenty of help here to get you through this, let's get busy! Dan PS, you can call me at 317-370-0139 if you want to talk about it, you CAN "Bling" it out over time as I have
  15. Dang 2nd gens acting like a hardley now!!!!! Whats gonna happen next?! Good thing a passenger wasn't back there!!
  16. Pull the trigger on that deal and get us some pics! We can work you through the upgrade before it goes, you got a couple of years before you need to do it. If the rest of the bike is in good shape, you're good to go.
  17. Unfortunate as it is, sounds like he's lucky to get away with 6 yrs.
  18. Combofix and hijackthis works real good along with malwarebytes. Go to malwareU and get downloads. Finds it in safe mode. Dan
  19. Kinda like what I did in FRONT of my wife!
  20. I wanna see one of them fancy 2nd gens do that!
  21. This would take place when you paypal me, as then I can just print out the shipping labels from them. That way, nobody has their address out there if they don't it to be. Thanks
  22. Glad you had a chance to get away for a couple of weeks Don, good to see you and Eileen again. Perhaps next year Rose and I may be able to do the same thing! I can't think of a better way to see this great country! Be safe on the slab today, Dan & Rose
  23. I'd love to have the motor and wheels, them cases and rims are puuuuuurrrrrtttttyyyyyy!!!!
  24. I was gonna say that BTW, if you stop with your oil pan over top of a corner of the loop, if you can see the cut, chances are you'll trip the loop. I always pull up on one of the cuts on the side, then stop at the front corner. Works most of the time........
