  1. As any older electrician will tell you, "That's only 1 less cup of coffee I need to drink today!"
  2. Dang, I keep looking at that bike.............$$$$$
  3. But that junk title puts me off. Otherwise I'd probably try to pick that one up.
  4. Thats probably what mines gonna be when I repaint her
  5. And then the fight started................
  6. Contact Marcarl, he bought a couple extra ones just for this moment.
  7. Sounds like a re-solder to the board pins may be neccesary.
  8. Ah, one of those "I should have just torn into it in the first place, I 'da been done by now and back riding again" moments..........
  9. Got mine in!
  10. It's actually right on the engine case, in the valley between the cylinders, number with a circle around it. Kinda hard to see, they're right beside the intercooler, or "Twinkie" as we call it.
  11. So, this is probably all your bike parts, when you gonna pack up the house stuff!
  12. Yep, right rear. It's #1 LR, #2 LF, #3 RR, #4 RF.
  13. I happen to think thats a GREAT cheerleader outfit! GO BUCKS!
  14. I'll be here Sat. morning, lets make it between 10 and noon. Gotta leave shortly after that. It should only take a half-hour at the most. I-74 at Exit 101 SE of Indy. Give me a call at 317-370-0139 and we'll set up a time. Dan
  15. You guys are welcome. Glad it's over.
  16. I want first dibs on driving the lawnmower!
  17. That's alright Brad. Sit back and have another cold one. We'll have Naugh-T explain it all veeerrrryyyyyy slow for you. Don't worry buddy, she'll make sure you get there next year! Skinny Squidley
  18. A 200 amp service minimum grounding conductor is a #4 copper. He says there's no ground rod, and only 3 #1 aluminum conductors feeding the panel. WAY undersized on an Al conductor. Should be a 4/0 Al wire at minimum, 2/0 on Cu ('bout as big as your thumb) if there's a 200 amp main breaker installed. Lets see those pics, then it'll be known.
  19. I should be here Saturday morning for awhile, but gotta leave in the afternoon. I'll check w/ the missus and make sure.
  20. Wow. Now I gotta try to go to bed and sleep? There'll be nightmares all night!
  21. Is there no other big wire attached to the panel anywhere? Is there a ground rod installed outside? Could be a serious problem if there's not. Means your system isn't earth grounded. Any spikes could potentially be hazardous and your circuit breakers may not operate properly. I see situations in panels all the time, makes me wonder how somebody hasn't gotten hurt. Got any questions? Take a pic of the whole panel and post it. Tell me if the panel's on an outside wall w/access to a dirt area. I'll help you get one in. Dan
  22. Hey Dennis, I can understand where you're coming from. I was on the Board when we put together our VFD in our township back in 99. Man, what a PITA. You've got guys telling you this is what you've got to have, others saying you don't. We got lucky, got some equipment from the DNR, Guard and a couple of other dep'ts that were getting newer vehicles. Finally got rid of the chief that thought we had to have everything under the sun, got one in that actually talked to the other dep'ts around us as to what they had for reciprocity runs. Now we've got a decent dep't that has what they need, upgrading equip. when possible without ruining the budget. We straddle I-74, so we have to be equipped for that scenario, plus a big casino/horsetrack just outside the district plus a small airport. I feel for you and the folks in your district. Hopefully you'll find out whats going on. Dan
  23. Have you ever stood in front of a Vision and looked at the front end? That's where I get my statement from. Kinda like Bozo on LSD!
  24. Look around at your local truck stop or CB shop by a truck stop. That's where I found my 24" black CB aentenna, then just used a car aentenna for my radio. They usually carry a wide variety there. Radio Shack isn't the place to shop for something like that. Good luck, Dan
  25. Well, as long as you ascribe to Timothy Learys diatribe and lifestyle, you should get along just great! LOL:240: Just kiddin'. If that's what you like, go for it! BTW, I like the new name!
