I got some weak flu starting Monday, could feel it in my throat and that metallic taste when I swallowed. Started hackin' up green/yeller, called the Doc on Thursday, got me right in and gave me a Z-Pac (3 day super-antibiotic). Felt better Friday (even tho I complained about feeling bad and got a 2 hour nap in!) and feel great today. Nipped 'er in the bud by gettin to the docs early enuff. Might try some of SilvrTs and MiCarls meds tonite! Whats that hangover cure?

Carb repair or upgrade

The vboost system adds about an inch to the overall heigth of the system. You would need to cut about an inch out of the airbox to get it to fit. I have just the runners that I'm contemplating putting on the 84 with a manual control. Hers a couple of bench pics...... -
As far as small fortune--- You can't take it with you!!!!!! Dan, you gots to quit paying attention to that RPM tach! Thats just a suggestion of the redline! Anything to do with this place is WELL worth it! I personally think that you got the spelling right on this one; "NODerators" is definately more descriptive!

Hey Bob, Scroll down on the home page here where you can see the ebay stuff, theres an 86-93 starter going for 35 bucks with an hour to go. Might be time to just change it out or at least rule it out.

Squid left me a voice mail about 1:30, they had just passed into Texas, said they had about 270 miles to go. I bet the birds are tired of the car by now!

Glad you two made it safely down there thru the rain and are safe at the hotel. Rose and I are extremely happy you guys made it thru here and we were able to see you for a bit. I didn't call you when I found out, but 2 hours after you came thru the 465/69 interchange, as we were outside talking right before you left, a propane tanker flipped in that same curve under the bridge to 465 south and blew up. Nobody seriously hurt, but the bridge is probably damaged and will be closed for a while. 73 year old driver. Sure glad you came thru when you did! Now that we got that out of the way, the rest of your trip will be safe and easy! Don't over do it tomorrow, arrive safe and sound, Dan & Rose

I can't believe you let Wayne do your wiring for you! Have you increased your property insurance yet? Actually I'm kinda jealous, I didn't get to modify my garage before I had to start putting stuff in there. I could have easily raised it up a block or two, only have a 6-1/2' door opening. Good luck, and I hope the lights actually work for ya!

Brad & Lonna didn't make it to Indy last nite, but thats fine. We met up for breakfast this morning and they got on their way about 11 this morning. So hard to say goodbye to them from this neck of the woods, but gives us a darn good reason to head down to Texas next year! Travel safe my friends, God is watching over you!

Do you have any friends on US bases or with APO addresses? Just askin' -
If it's a 60d heated garage, then the wife won't mind when you bring it in the house to keep the tires at 75!

That first pic is NASTY! I'm surprised it was idling at all very well. Good job on the synch, looks a lot better now. Go to www.carbtune.com , they're the best out there.

Check the fluid level in the rear master cylinder, but since it's only the front, I would suspect a rubber hose that is collapsing not allowing the fluid to return to the MC, but it also could be some scratches on the piston or some fluid has congealed in the passages of the caliper. Pull it off, split it and blow out the passages with some low pressure air and see if that helps. Dan

Nice pics Tom, glad everyone had a good time. I had to work then pull the motor (305) out of my sons 79 Camaro, putting a 350 4 bolt together tomorrow to drop back in there. I think I'm gonna play hookie on Tuesday tho, up to high 60's, maybe even 70! Tell Bob that pic in the middle is a natural pose for him
