    Lucky for you Brian, I got to spend all day in the garage replacing a timing chain cover gasket on the Durango! Spent about 15 minutes inside with the family eating dinner and that was about it! Still haven't got the bike out, been over a month, this working all the time crap has to stop. Dan

    The VMax continued in the 1200 development area, while the Venture went to the 1300. Don't know why, someone more knowledgeable might have an answer.

    Progressive full coverage for my 84 is 233 a year, if an idiot with no insurance hits me (I learned from Yammer) I at least want some cash out of the bike

    You shouldn't have to worry about yours for a while, Annie. Unless of course you're planning on putting on a supercharger to make that Quike go quicker, then we can set you up! Dano

    If you're interested in fixing that starter clutch with the best upgrade around (actually the ONLY upgrade), then let me know and I can tell you about it. I'll be making a post here in the next week or so when things settle down a little around here explaining it all. To put it mildly, it'll be the last time you even THINK about having a problem with your starter gear! Dano

    Rev limiter is a product of the cams and the weaker valve springs, Venture has a smaller profile and valves, VMax quite the opposite plus the VBoost, you can run them up to about 9500 or higher for VERY short bursts. I know I've run my 84 up to 8500 under load a couple of times, but you don't want to do that by missing a shift! No load high R's are a lot different then high revs under load. Just think about all those poor bearings and chains floating around in there with no load on them!

    If you come up 75 to 74 into Indy and then 465N up around to 431N (Keystone Ave.), that'll take you right up to Westfield Yamaha. I'll be working just south of 465 & Keystone Monday, but don't know if I can get away to say hey. Here's my cell anyway 317-370-0139. Might be able to get away for lunch if you're ready when you get off the freeway. I know there's no construction on 74 & 465, but 431N has some but it shouldn't impede your trip any. Dan

    I won't pi** you off then by telling you I only pay $233 a YEAR for full coverage for my 84, I just won't tell ya! Sorry about that tho, I can sympathize. My dirt bike started right up after sitting for 2 years just with gas and the 2 stroke Benol oil mix I had in there.
