    Same here, prayers on the way. Almost had a cager take me out a couple of weeks ago turning right in front of me from the left lane. He knew I was there too.

    Had that happen to me going over a jump on my dirt bike once......... Not real pleasureable to sit back down again not knowing it wasn't there!!!!!!

    I had a set of stainless Z brackets on there, they ended up cracking so I went with 1/4" flat steel and haven't had a problem since.

    I hope the stainless will hold up, especially the 4 for the vertical bars. They tend to "carry the weight" and could snap. I used Grade 8 bolts for these connections and after a year and a half no signs of wear.

    Use the high/low switch to trigger an SPDT relay to pass the higher voltage to the ballast. Run it from the battery and put a fuse in the feed.

    So sorry to hear of that, too many have been taken from us this way. Just this weekend and last week, we've had too many taken. The 13 year old at the support race for the MotoGP, a 15 year old at a local dirt bike race and a few from the community due to either unfortunate circumstances or age. Really kinda sad myself this week. Dan

    I WAS gonna say that they're for the tiny girls that ride on the back of them so they didn't look so small on the big bikes, butt then I saw a girl on one Saturday night that TOTALLY destroyed that train of thought!!!!!

    ALL of my tags come up in August, except for the big trailer, so's I always wait till the last moment to go get them......... That way I know I gotta put them on or face the wrath of the wif if she gets caught!

    I made my own for my 84 with the chrome rear bumper. built it with a small platform w/ stinger type hitch so I could carry a small cooler for the day trips. Could build you one if you want for around $150 painted black. Heres some pics , yeah, she's dirty, but I'm a rider, not a polisher!
