Send a PM to Squeeze over in Germany, as he has some contacts in the European VR world and may know someone who can help you out.

Of course, a 1st genner doesn't have to worry about getting caught, I'm just sayin'............

Good to see you on here Jay, hope the surgery and recovery allows you to climb back on a bike sometime. Rose and I enjoyed riding down in Arkansas with you guys last year, would like to do it again sometime.

If you're depending on your speedo, which is at 65mph when you're actually doing 70, then I don't see how that is "keeping you safely within the speed limitations"!!!!!!!!

My thoughts are the flag was put up in the attic for reasons unknown by prior parties, it's at least 60+ years old and I would not have a problem keeping it and possibly donating it to a local museum or veterans service organization.

I should have noticed it in your thread, it eventually hit me after I did the "DOH" moment. Bad Boys and Stebels are basically the same horn, a single 1/4-20 bolt coming out the back of it. You may have to drill a hole like I did right at the bottom as in the photo below. But I would almost assume you have done this with the original horn.

The Squid doesn't make those brackets anymore, but you could use a piece like MiCarl shows in his pics. BTW, mine didn't work at all with the stock wiring, use the stock wiring to power your relay, then run a fused wire from the battery + post thru the contacts on the relay and then down to the horn. The relay can be tucked up under the false cover on a 1st gen and inside the fairing on a 2nd gen. Here's a pic of my setup, should work for you too.

Keep dreaming Don, maybe by the time you're ready for a trike......

Mines been with me since high school, when you have a couple of Dans in the same classes and stuff, it just evolved naturally especially when your last name starts with O.......

Good luck in waiting for the outcome Kevin, those are two great kids. They helped a lot when I was up there! A little bit of TLC, some time and a bit of patience and I believe they'll turn out to become great adults! Now that boy, and you can tell him I said this, needs to work that shovel and rake a bit more this fall to help the old man out! Thoughts and prayers going out to help you thru this. Dano

Question is,,,, did Jeff look any better after your treatment? He was probably so giddy about getting that discount that he's going to grow the bushy beard back, isn't he? I'd watch out, next he's going for the senior discount at Golden Corral!

Yeah, but all you Southerners never get a chance to do donuts in a parking lot!!!!!!! I'll stick with the snow for a while just to enjoy that!!

Prayers sent. Glad they caught it, 15 yrs ago my dad had a carotid arterial aneurism that blew up on him. They weren't able to repair but that bull of a man lasted over a week even tho he was in a coma. Watch the bloating and temperature rise, my mom fell and broke her hip ball this spring and after surgery had the same symptoms. They went back in and had to remove 26" of bowel. They never could tell us why this happened, but that is a story for another time. I wish your father well and may he be around with you for a long time. Dan

No, definitely not one of your bigger batches! Still, they were great shots, some of them you could even click thru fast for a mini-video! I believe I'll have that split bumper Camaro tho, that's one sweet ride.

Is that a Tri-power air cleaner I see under that hood? Auto or manual tranny? Nice car, had a 67 Tempest that I played around with back in the day. Grandson is lucky to have you to raise him. Take him for a ride and ingrain that early American muscle into him.

Thanks Gary, great write-up for us techno dudes. I left it kinda basic for some of the not-so-tech guys, plus with a yard full of leaves that needed cleanin' up, mama was more insisting that I do that instead of this! -

I may be wrong, but I believe the motor runs counter-clockwise as viewed from the left, which puts the firing sequence BEFORE TDC, as is with most motors I know of (RE: Chevy small block, which is anywhere from 10d BTDC to 4d BTDC), therefore, as the piston reaches TDC, the explosion is then pushing down on the piston as it comes around, providing maximum force or torque to be applied. If you waited till after TDC, the piston is already traveling downward, which would be wasting some of that torque. I WAS wrong once before, tho........
