Seems like a few of those warm weather boys from down there would've answered by now. At least it happened that a 1st genner from Wisconsin was almost there to help him out!

I turned the Butler/Pitt game on with 3:30 left on the clock at 9PM, took till 9:30 for that game to get over with! 2 stupid fouls on both sides at the end of the game, who'da thunk it! Just start rooting for OSU and Butler Dan, that way you'll have somebody to watch till the final game is over!

Unfortunately, I'm running a big job for a friend of mine right now and can't take the time off and I have a meeting tomorrow night. He told me "nobody works if you don't work". I think 6 guys would be pretty pissed at me if I took the day off........ That's why I said yesterday would've been perfect.......

Weathers been hit-or-miss, usual springtime and March Madness in Indiana. You can probably figure on one more snow by the end of the month. Got in one ride to work this week, 44 in the morning, 72 and 25 mph winds in the afternoon. Still a ride tho, not complaining......

I tell ya, if'n this was yesterday and not today, I'd hook it up right now and take off! I had thought about Scooter dragging it all around the US like Aussie Annie the bear but didn't know if he wanted to drag it that far. Got some good rain scheduled for most of the day now and some previously scheduled tasks stand in the way. Guess we'll work on the back-up plan.....

If you make it on over to Indianapolis, we would be glad to put up with you (not TOO sure about the Black Death tho, might have to let the wife try some....), some interesting sites to visit around here if you are interested in Motor Sports at all and I'm sure we could arrange a little M&E along the way....... I'm up here in Indy, so we're looking to move it over to Illinois, Wisconsin or Iowa to get it started out west. It's an m-c trailer with a 1-7/8ths ball hitch. Currently has a 6 pin round light connector with a 4 pin adapter, but I will be building a 5 pin flat adapter as that's what I have on my bike right now. I know we have several members west and north of here and across the northern states, so it shouldn't be much more than a nice weekend day ride for some of us to get this thing moving. Depending on the weather the next couple of weekends, I'd be willing to ride over to Mid- Illinois or closer to the Wi. border (without going NEAR Chicago!) to meet up with somebody to get it rolling. Jeff has all the plate paperwork and registration in the trailer, so it's all legal and stuff. Could even be towed behind a car if necessary. Come on guys, let's get this trailer a-rollin'!

Loved it! If I could only drive one of those old vintage Ferraris, I'm thinkin' life might be complete. Of course, I'd want to drive it at Marinello or Monaco or the Neurbergring or......

Negative battery cable is located on the right front of the motor above the water pump right next to the frame.

Shifter shaft wearing on crankcase?
Dano replied to Goat Roper's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I would be suspect of the dealer, but on the 1st gens the shaft is supported so there wouldn't be any wobble on the actual shaft itself. There are several areas around there that can leak, they're just not doing a good enuff job finding it. Whay year is the bike? They carry a 5 year full warranty that would cover this. Dan Oh, theres an oil seal where the shaft exits the block, so it can't wobble out the crankcase. GET THAT BIKE AWAY FROM THE DEALER QUICKLY! -
Being the skinniest guy on here (so far), I'm not sure how to answer this one!!!

As you're riding by, pull the clutch and gas it up. When you let off the gas close the choke and flood the exhaust. Then open up the choke and floor it! Of course you might have to replace a muffler or two, but I think the fun factor FAR outweighs the cost!!
