  2. This car has a carburetor?
  3. Rhonda!
  4. Ahhhhhhh...... Been there done that!
  5. Remember the oil pan goes on the bottom of the bike, it's not a side cover!
  6. So Don, what you're saying is that you invented the "Stoppie"?! Congratulations, never knew that one of our own came up with that!! Dano
  7. Like Nike says: "Just Do It!" You'll have plenty of time in the car to heal, you don't climb on the bike till July!!!! Dano
  8. Sounds like he'll fit right in! Maybe introduce him to some Apple Pie or maybe even the Black Death!!!!
  9. You need to do it on the side stand or you will suffer a lot of oil loss. The reason for doing it that way is that all the oil goes over to the left side of the case away from your open clutch cover. That is, unless you drain the oil first. Your choice!! Dano
  10. I was starting to wonder about ya there Snags.....
  11. Did you put your boots on when you went out to check the weather? Heck, at least protect your feet! Now there's a picture for ya!
  12. Sounds like you're bonding the neutral to the ground at the dryer connection, not a connection I would make, and against code, but then again, it's not my dryer. Dan
  13. Yep, they're 20+ years old. http://www.partshark.com will have the best prices for you.
  14. Just remember- #1 is left rear, #2 is left front (this is where the tach gets it's signal, also the vacuum sensor comes off the #2 carb), #3 is right rear and #4 is right front.
  15. Just make sure they don't take it off with the rescue rig, looks like it could be part of the package! Great to see you again Dan, next time on 2 wheels!
  16. Meeting up with the guys in about an hour and a half at Squealers, play day this afternoon then maybe the casino for a bit tonite as it'll be all work all the time for the next couple of weeks! All while the wife and son are tanning on the beach in St. Pete. Whats wrong with this pic!
  17. Well add another bearing to that, I went ahead and replaced the other one just because it felt a little loose, even after re-packing it. So at least it'll roll for a long time! Dano
  18. Wouldn't be skeered, after all I fixed the diaphragms and replaced the plugs at the hotel during the Int'l Rally last year in Elkhart..... Just carry a toolkit and some spare parts: stator and 2 gaskets (middle gear and left cover), plugs, maybe wires and caps, assortment of electrical terminals and fuses, liquid electrical tape (diaphragm repair). Of course, that's if you're pulling a trailer which I would on a trip that long. We'll be doing around 3000 with the trip out to Cody and back this year, so I guess that fits the parameters. Dan
  19. Rose and my son Nic just headed to Florida for a week, I'm stuck here to make the $$ to pay for it. They got sunshine and 80d, I get 25d mornings and 30d afternoons the whole next week! Oh yeah, 1-3" snow by Sunday morning.........
  20. Hmmm, might have to rethink this! I mean it should at least have ONE wheel left on it when it gets there!
  21. Yep, 72 and sunny yesterday, 33 and snow flurries today. Welcome to high school state tournaments! Spring don't start till after the Championship!
  22. When hell freezes over!
  23. :sign **** happens: Congrats on making it this far!
  24. If they're not torn up and the band clamps are good, re-use the heck out of them.
  25. Depending on the weather, next Sunday is a distinct possibility. Wife and son are leaving Friday nite for Florida and a good ride sounds like it's in order. I can come over 74 (or 136, it'll just take longer, wink-wink), 36 or 70, then we have to get some folks to get it further west.
