    But, we need details too!
  2. I am ecstatic to hear of the successful rehab that Dave is going thru, the power of everyones prayers and thoughts is overwhelming. I too look forward to the day when I can see and talk to him in person again, he is just that great of a guy. Please pass along a big hug from me the next time one of you lucky guys get to see him.
  3. I just look out in the garage.......
  4. May the road be full of sunshine With twists and evil turns, And your day be filled with happiness good friends and lots of cheer, I hope your day went well my friend Just like a good cold beer.
  5. Same here.......:rotf:
  6. Same here, Happy Birthday Brad, hope there are many more to come.
  7. Left side of the bike beside the battery, under the cover. Remove the rear screw, there's a pin/grommet connection at the front. Just pop it out and the fuse block is behind that.
  8. Indy. And better roads than Brown County over in mid-southeastern Indiana. Rode 150 miles of them today. Nice little tree-lined 2 lane roads with no traffic for most of the afternoon.
  9. Located under the drivers seat is the main harness connection going out to the lights. It sits right behind the battery. The cable actually travels inside the fender (right next to the tire!!) and then connects to the rear lamps right behind the license plate (that little egg shaped chrome piece). Make sure you check the connections there also. The fuse should be in the fuse block right next to the battery. I'll be on here for a bit, so go check that and let us know what happened. Dano
  10. Carbon One here on the site also has some, check out the Member Vendors section in the Classifieds
  11. You can leave the bike on the side stand and pull the clutch cover with very little loss of oil. That will allow you to look in the lower left corner behind the clutch pack and see if everything is hunky-dorry in there. Be sure to buy a new gasket before you start......
  12. I'll take care of the two on the right for ya Eck.......
  13. Happy Birthday Randy!
  14. Sorry to hear of Robin and yours loss, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and her at this time.
  15. A standard MKI motor will easily wrap up to 8200 rpms without floating the valves, but you better not miss a shift! Power drops a bit over 7500, so power shift about 7200 and hold on! You should also be able to pick up the front tire with 1-2 and 2-3 shifts at WOT, that's an experience that anyone riding with you won't believe! (I got tired of the head slaps from the wife so I only do it when I'm by myself....). BTW, check with Muffinman as to the top speed on these bikes......... don't believe the books
  16. If the oil level is above 2/3rds, vacuum from the carbs will draw oil vapors from the crankcase up into the airbox where it collects in the left rear corner. The excess will then drain out of the hose you're seeing. Usually ends up with a thorough cleaning of the underside to get the oil off!
  17. Nope a Toyota MR2 Spyder, a nice little 2 seater convertible that already has Venture badges on it!
  18. If the price is right (+/-10,5) then that's a good deal and you should pick it up. I guess I got lucky because my 08 is quiet. Dittos on the warranty, just had my headlight dimmer switch replaced.
  19. Happy Birthday Dan, now go out and buy that white you want! Just tell the Warden it's her b-day gift to ya!!
  20. You better pull the saddlebags and check the grab bar bolts, I had one come out on the right side after I put the armrests on, just checked and the left side is coming loose too....... Evidently mamaYama don't know how to tighten things up right.....
  21. I've got a set of forks off an 87 I'd be willing to part with (only 26k on them) if you're interested. Just PM or call me (317-370-0139) Dano
  22. Jeff, you never fail to amuse us or teach us new tricks.......
  23. We just scored a couple of free tix for the race on Sunday, what nite is bike night? We'll be going for that too if it's going on this year. Wanna hear those pipes soon, that is if you ever get it out of Cicero..........
  24. But we're talking about Condor and wires again. I'm a little too far away for a house call Jack, but maybe we can make it out there next spring......
  25. Water's just as hard as asphalt at those speeds!
