    I believe under the water pump on the right side there's another drain plug you might pull to drain the pump area. Sounds like a good Sunday project to do!

    That compressor rack under the back trunk is actually for the CLASS air suspension system, I don't have one to track it down for ya, but it's not hooked into the cruise system! I'll look at the cruise system on my 87 parts bike and see how it's wired and hooked in. It's all up under the left side of the lower part of the front fairing.

    When I first got home in December, I looked 95 in the mirror,,,,,,,,, I think I'm down to about 75 now! Gotta keep workin' on it!! I'm really only 54!!

    I've got complete plastic for an 87 2 tone blue, hope that would meet your colors, you coming to MD where I don't have to ship it?? It's easy to fix 2nd gear in these, just takes a bit of time....

    Youse guys ALL live in a great area to ride! LOVED IT when we were down there for IR in Marble Springs 3 years (???!!!) ago. Just ask CTraylor or some of the other guys from down there that we met.....

    This all is a GREAT way to break them in, have done it this way since the middle 70's, so yea it's the only CORRECT way to do it. Plus it helps in exercising the lower portion of the body when you're keeping the foot planted to the floor.........

    Great looking car Pat! We went up to a local every Friday nite gathering of Hot Rods last nite and saw about 6-8 of the same age! Getting my son some schooling on how to work on and rebuild these older cars as when he's 35 or so, most of the guys working on them now will be too old..... His first project, he's done the body work and paint last year in school. a regular 350 4 bolt block with nothin' special yet......

    Wow, I've been thru H**L in the last 6 months and I"M GONNA BE THERE!!! Why is everybody else coming up with excuses NOT to be there?? Best party and get together of the year!!!

    My offer may sound inviting, but it's about 2-3 inches taller than the original. I've got a Saddlemans Travelcade on my '84 that I wouldn't mind pulling off and selling to one of our members cause I'm looking at getting rid of the bike anyway. It's been sent down to Ricks and rebuilt with memory foam in the front and back and has a built in seat back for the driver. Will come with the pad that matches for the passenger trunk back. It's black vinyl around the sides and charcoal gray cloth seat cover. Can't upload pics right now but send me your email in a PM and I'll send 'em to ya.

    Ahh, could have met ya a couple of weeks ago when we drove out to your town to meet up with Old Texan to pick up his bike.... We were 1 exit west of Route 65 and ran over to Wallyworld whilst we was there.....

    See if you can see the threads at the end of the crankshaft, that'll give you an idea of which way it needs to go.

    Did you put the fuel filter in new, right direction for flo? Fuel pump velocity fast enuff to fill up the carbs while you're going high rpm's? Got good or new diaphragms in the carbs? Probably fuel, not air.
