    I've got a pretty good collector box off an 87 with only 36,000 miles on it and it has sat since '02, looks in great condition since I took it off the parts bike about three months ago. I'll take $40 plus $20 bucks shipping for it if'n you want it.

    With Progressives in the front, you only need 2-3 lbs of air pressure up there, 7 may make the front end a little tight going thru the curves and catching some bumps. I never ran any pressure in my 84 with Progressives. Very reboundable and able to handle most anything.....

    If'n you can get into it (I know, difficult without pulling the motor.....) you can try cleaning the crap out of the contacts and make sure the tip coming from inside makes a good contact,,,,,, MAY fix the "problem"........

    Wow, TOTALLY JEALOUS!!!! I'd really rather be up there riding with you today, but I remember the last 50 miles into Cody from the east,,,,, was just like riding thru the desert!!!!! Beartooth and Chief Joseph made up for it tho....... We better have another rally in a couple of years out there again!!!!!

    Have you checked the tank venting line? Hooks up at the filling hole, then runs down. Has a shut-off in it if'n you roll over, along the right side rear sloping frame visible with the side cover off. Just an idea.....
