  1. MiCarl, you can keep the pumpkin pie, but I would NOT advise eating the rhubarb pie! You MUST send that down to me so I can taste it for you and make sure it's safe!!!!! I'll try and send whats left over back to you! Not much chance of that happening, tho!! Dan

  6. We plan on bringing some samples, not just limited to Venture stuff. Waaayyyyy too much stuff to bring to build bracelets there, I'd have to bring the Durango to haul it all. Plan on taking orders and then shipping them to the folks. You know, working on that vendor thing. She can do anything with the bracelets as far as design, I'll have her send me some pics of some of her designs. One thing I'll say, these ain't the cheap ones! Most of them use Swarovski crystal, REAL glass beads and 100% Sterling Silver. She's building a double bracelt for a lady that's gonna come in around 90 bucks she told me. SHe's actually only making a few bucks on the Venture bracelets, it takes some time to put these together. That's why I do electrical work on the side, the hourly pay is a h**l of a lot better! Thanks for the suggestions though, Bill. 'Preciate it. Dan

  20. Interstate--- 4 lane "freeway- speeds 65+ mph (I-71 (odd) north/south, I-70 (even) are east/west, same goes for state routes) Highway--- State highway routes-- mostly 4 and 2 lane, clearly marked, usually good routes to travel RT- could be local roads, but usually state roads Hope this helps, Dan
  21. If you take off the left side rear cover (middle gear cover), will lose a little oil, you can look in there right behind the kickstand switch and see the gear indicator rotary switch. Follow the harness and check the connector, it may be right avoce the kickstand switch (rear portion). Might as well pull the 2 side covers off and have a good look around, if you haven't already. Flatout has good parts schematics to show you where stuff is. Welcome here Ivan, look forward to seeing that 84 Standard out on the road. Dan
  22. We've known that for a long time................. LOL Dan
  23. Picked this up in an email today, wanted to share it. One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the trip?' 'It was great, Dad.' 'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked. 'Oh yeah,' said the son. 'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father The son answered: 'I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.' The boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.' Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have. Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends! Pass this on to family, friends and acquaintances and help them refresh their perspective and appreciation. "Life is too short and friends are too few!"
  24. Same here, Jeff. What made you put the hack on? Something telling you to? That's freaky! Glad you're safe.
