    You'll have to take out the right inner box from the fairing (be it glove box, CLASS or CB box. You should see a #10 metric bolt with a black wire along the upper frame tubing. That is the secondary ground point, along with one on the left frame tube just above the front valve cover. At least that's what I found on mine. Dan

    Got home at 3 this AM from a 40 hour 1700 mile round trip to Baton Rouge and back......... There was 5" of snow on I-12 between Baton Rouge and New Orleans Thursday nite on my way down! Was beautiful down there yesterday, though. Had just t-shirt on by 10, left at 1 to head home. Gonna try to get time to get the bike out for a short one today or tomorrow!

    I don't have the tool kit (bought a small kit for 15 bucks at Harbor Freight), BUT I do have the air guage with bag, AND the factory Yamaha lock and chain, even fits my key! Dan

    As an aside to this thread, if you ever go to order and replace the crankcase breather hose from the airbox to the "twinkie", they will send you the shorter hose that the drain line is supposed to "T" into in the later mods, makes it a pain to try and stretch the new shorter hose down to the fitting! Dan

    I do a LOT of electrical and lighting maintenance for WM here in Indiana, you wouldn' t BELIEVE how much money their corporate people waste on stuff every year, it's comical sometimes! But I'll keep taking their money! Dan

    Although it's cold with snow and ice, it's also a good time to practice those donuts and car control in those empty parking lots!!!

    Just a thought here, if you use the crimp connectors to join the wires, get the type that has the heat-shrink ends, so you can seal up the connection. That way, when it's just sitting around waiting to be used (especially if tie-wrapped to the frame), you won't get any corrosion in there. Dan

    We still go out to a tree farm, been going there since 1991, second year they were open. Along the way they have added civil war re-enactors, old time craft shop and usually a horse-drawn team to take you back to get your tree. Lots of fun! Dan

    I tried to find an excuse to get out yesterday too, but couldn't find anything I needed that I had to pick up! Too many chores to just go out for a ride! Dang it, rain and snow coming in for the next few days! Dan

    Yeah, well THAT didn't happen! Even tried taking apart the brakes on my daughters car to try and find something that needed parts, NOTHING DOING!!!!!!! Just resigned myself to the fact it might be over....... I'll still hold out a small glimmer of hope, though. Dan

    Check the fluid passages from the line in side to the other side, may be a small blockage there. Also, I think the passages may not allow the slave side to operate at same pressure as the line in side. Just my opinion, and as Squidley so eloquently put it, ya'll don't pay attention to me anyway, but it makes me feel good typing so much trivial information! Dan

    Oh you poor guys with your beer days, Schnitzel-eating, bratwurst tossing, Neurburgring racing, oh let me take my Vmax up into the alps for a couple days, 1st gen riding and secretly building prototype parts for the quickest Vmax around German son-of-a-gun, how DARE you try and not call me your friend?! Must be my German heritage (both sides) that I can't even get mad at this guy! That's my best attempt at trying to get this thread deleted, probably won't work, though. Maybe this one will do: Hey Squidley, when you gonna get tired of playin' with those slooooowwwww bikes and come up and play at the front of the pack with us big boys??????????? Skinny Squidley
