I was GONNA say lunch, but figured I get beat up for that! I like Bandit the best, that was one of my best dogs, got him from the pound. He would herd cattle and just about clean out all the moles from the yard!

Goo Gone is what we use in the sign industry to remove the left over glue. If it's been in the sun with the graphics on it very long, the area around it will be a different shade than where the graphics were. Only thing to fix that is a paint job...........

Ones too big to wrap (jewelry armoire) but it's together and up in the daughters room (wife can't go upstairs, surgery last week!) with a bow on it! Second one will be wrapped tonight and under the tree tomorrow night. I NEVER put her stuff out till the night before! She doesn't think I shop till the day before (true in most cases) but I beat her this year! Dan:dancefool:

Hey Don, just wanting you to feel "at home" while you were down here. Supposed to get more tonite, then 50 by daylight and trending downwards from there. 17's the high by Sunday.......... It was great to see you, too. Glad we're "in the business" so we can see each other every once in a while. Next time, I'll make sure to get you out to the house for that dinner I promised you, but I knew you didn't want MY cooking this time.........

Does anyone have a burned up stator??????
Dano replied to raceman62race's topic in General Tech Talk
Naw, skinny enuff that I just pass through most solids........ Thinking of adding some warm gear, knowing my stator isn't up to snuff to handle the load. I have my driving lights on all the time when I'm riding, notice a HUGE drain while I'm stopped. Could be that cheap Interstate gell battery I bought instead of the Odyssey. I'm starting to think it won't hold a load without the stator charging full, even tho its 22 amp/hour.- 15 replies

Hydraulic fluid from clutch slave? I assume they're still using the same setup. It would run down the frame to the kickstand and drip from there. Clear fluid and feels like oil. What does the winner get for a prize???!!! Dan

Warm, 40 + yesterday, but spittin' rain all day. Not gonna take a chance on it. Guess it's over with for the year! Dan

Need help from electrical gurus
Dano replied to Texaskid's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
You'll have to take out the right inner box from the fairing (be it glove box, CLASS or CB box. You should see a #10 metric bolt with a black wire along the upper frame tubing. That is the secondary ground point, along with one on the left frame tube just above the front valve cover. At least that's what I found on mine. Dan -
That would be self-mutilation, wouldn't it Brad?!!

Got home at 3 this AM from a 40 hour 1700 mile round trip to Baton Rouge and back......... There was 5" of snow on I-12 between Baton Rouge and New Orleans Thursday nite on my way down! Was beautiful down there yesterday, though. Had just t-shirt on by 10, left at 1 to head home. Gonna try to get time to get the bike out for a short one today or tomorrow!
