    +1 Shouldn't go to jail and ruin their life. It was not intentional. They'll have to wake up everyday knowing they killed someone. I don't care about a 65 dollar fine. That money goes to the government anyways and they'll waste it on something stupid. Instead, the families of the motorcyclists take the driver and the insurance company to court to pay for everything. At least then the money goes to a cause.

    I use Mobil 75w90 synthetic. Get it at most auto parts houses. I "borrow" mine from work.

    Hmm..I've ridden a V-Strom 1000. I would be really, REALLY surprised to find out the Strom is almost 100 horse. Maybe 60 or 70, but not 100.

    My seat blew off my bike once while it was parked at work. Co-worker came in and saw the seat in the parking lot and noticed mine was missing. Amazingly, he came to the conclusion that it was my seat and set it back on the bike.

    I know that we carry 4 inch round white LED lights. They have 40 individual LED's in em and they are BRIGHT!!! LED's do not shine very well, but they are very noticeable to oncoming traffic or traffic behind you. Almost all new semi trailers are now equipped with LED lights.

    Actually, the amber bulbs seem to be brighter than the clear bulbs.

    Rotella T 15w40 is a conventional diesel oil, is good, and comes in a white bottle. Rotella T 5w40 is a synthetic diesel oil, is good, and comes in a blue bottle.

Due to a death in the family, I missed the last couple days on it, but hell, 450 bux for a shock with 85,000 miles on it? Dang!! I can get a brand new one for 389!!!

    That there tire is worned out, plain and simple, not "blown out"... Well, I guess since you've worn through the tread and casing, it did literally "blow-out" .

    The speakers will not be hurt by running them without an amp. I don't know why you would want to add an amp unless you want the speakers REALLY loud. You would be better off making some kinda of small box or backing for the speakers to make them louder. There is nothing behind the speakers.

    I would assume that they would be weather resistant. Jerry W. and I just installed some Polk 401's in our 2nd Gens and they were a great improvement over stock. The Polk 401's are rated for marine use as well. Circuit City had them on sale for "buy 1 get 1 half off". Total cost was 65 a pair.

    I would not attempt it without a torch, welder, pipe bender, abrasive cut off saw and a pair of vice grips, otherwise, it would be almost too easy to change out the mufflers with out these items.
