It appears that you run a foam, reusable, oiled air filter. Most likely, the substance in question is a combination of blowby from the engine and excess oil off the filter.

I don't know if it's just for the YICS or for any multi-carbed, multi-intaked engine. BUT... The Jason Mod is when the intakes are all linked together through the vacuum ports with rubber hoses.

The price of oil is going up because oil is sold on the dollar and the dollar is losing it's value rapidly. The dollar is going down because our economy is coming down. The economy is coming down because there is an oversaturation of easy credit. There is an oversaturation of easy credit because the Federal Reserve is printing so much money with no value behind it. The Fed is printing money because the U.S. Government doesn't have any and is borrowing it from the Fed, China, Mexico, and any other country that will loan us money. The U.S. Government is broke because we are paying for entitlements to over 40% of the population and funding a war in which we can not afford. etc.etc.etc.....

It only rains here in Amarillo twice a year. The sun would cook it off before I could use it.

Did the fuse blow again as soon as you installed it? Sometimes fuses just go stupid. With all the vibrations, it's not uncommon for a fuse to just pop with no reason. I see it a lot in semi's. -

Are you 100% sure it was gas? Gas evaporates pretty quickly. I know there is some oil on top of mine all the time. It's blow-by out of the crankcase and smells a little like gas, but it's 100% oil. -

A spark is normal because there is current being drawn to run the radio memory. Not a big one, but a "normal" one....Sorry I can't explain "normal" better... -

You have to take off the left side passenger floorboard, there is a 30 amp main fuse behind there all by it's lonesome. -

I am terrible with names. I only remember 2 names for the OKC meetup. Lowell and Diana. I need to thank these 2 members for herding me to a bike dealer that carries watermelon holders that fit my head. Though they did not have the color I wanted, I was able to verify that it fit. I apologize for not remembering your names or forum handles. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/OK%20MnE%2004%2012%2008/P4124561.jpg

No apology needed. It's not your fault the owner just had to have the big table for himself and his family at lunch time. Pop's was a neat place, but it's just one of those places that you'd only go to once.

oops, doubled.

You should check your sidewall recommendations. I would run 50psi, the max, on the rear if I was running a motorcycle tire. My metzler called for 50 psi and it had 7000 miles on it and a plug in it and still had more to go. I always kept it at 50 psi.
