http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/-/-/-/-/-/-/140032/ $127.99 with free shipping. It's also the heavier 78H rating.

I was going to ask, but I thought that maybe it was for your V-Star instead of the Venture.
-
If that includes shipping, that's a pretty good price. I did a quick search and couldn't find a better deal.

The house branded AGM batteries at Oreilly Auto Parts and Advanced Auto are Deka batteries. A battery maintainer is almost required if the bike is going to sit for more than a couple weeks. I use a Schumacher Battery Maintainer. It charges the battery up and then goes into float mode. Cost is less than $20 from local big box store.

nope, wouldn't do it. Magic Jack is so cheap because they track and sell your personal info and internet usage. It's also almost impossible to uninstall it, so even when you quit using it, it's still tracking and selling personal info. http://broadband-nation.blogspot.com/2008/10/real-problems-with-magic-jack-is-majic.html

If you have natural gas, a natural gas generator is the way to go. Much more fuel efficient than a gas or propane genny and natural gas is almost always on. (unless some jackwagon cuts a line with a backhoe)

Nitto is a name brand tire. They advertise a lot in off road racing and the little cars with the fart can mufflers. http://www.nittotire.com/ They have a cool looking tire where the treads are flamed. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/attachments/performance-zone-tires-wheels-exhaust-superchargers-more/20440d1250997103-what-kind-lift-20-inch-wheels-131_0703_06_z-nitto_dune_grappler_tires-tire_street.jpg

Bike occasionally dies on me.... ideas?
flb_78 replied to DanOh's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Sounds like the ignition switch is going out. Next time it dies, try moving the key switch and see if it comes back to life. DON'T KILL YOURSELF TRYING TO DO THIS!!! -
Rotella T 15W40 diesel oil Anther popular one is Rotella T6 5W40 full synthetic. Both are JASO MA rated and are fine for motorcycles with wet clutches.

It may be time for new brake lines. The rubber ones weaken over time and will expand.

I saw an episode of Top Gear with the Holden Ute in it. That one had the V8 and a 6 speed in it. It was fast. http://www.holden.com.au/vehicles/ute

Strip a few placards off of it and it's just the same cookie cutter GM V6 FWD car they've been building for a couple decades now. They just slap a different grill and hood emblems on them to make them different brands.

I thought about going to Straight Talk. $45/month for unlimited talk/text AND web!! Straight Talk works on all ATT, Verizon and Spint networks, so one is almost always going to have a signal.

Found a blog on it. It "runs" on compressed air so it's not really and engine, but instead a motor. http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/world-s-smallest-v12-engine-actually-runs
