    Something good to watch is "Long Way Round" and "Long Way Down". Ewan McGregor and Charlie Borman ride BMWs around the world. I really did enjoy the 2 series. There's also the "Road to Dakar" that Charlie Borman did. It's a nice insight to what actually is involved in the Dakar offroad rally.

    Many people consider long distance riding to be stupid but I don't want a law against it because some "idiot" doing an iron butt crashed. Didn't someone die in the last rally? This was a fairly civil conversation until you entered it and started calling people stupid and idiots and it's responses like yours that keep us from being able to discuss other "controversial" topics on this board. It would be nice if everyone could just express their opinion without it becoming childish and personal.

    He probably had the rear end lowered as low as it would go so it had no suspension travel to make it look cool.

    I e-filed my Federal this weekend and will mail the state one in the morning. Now is not a good time to discuss politics with me even though I am getting a "refund".

    We'll just have to agree to disagree. I wear mine. It's my choice. Kentucky does not require it. Im free to wear or not wear one. I hope this thread doesn't become any more political. It's refreshing to see civil commentary.

    Never pay a reduced settlement unless you have a copy in writing showing that it's paid in full, otherwise it's your word vs their word and they have all the paperwork.

    I noticed that the Walmart in Danville, KY also had almost no stock of SuperTech but instead had Purolater. These are the standard Purolaters though, not the PureOne filters.

    I wear my brain bucket when I ride, but it shouldn't be forced on those who do not want to wear one.

    I had some pipes on my Venture. Sounded good, but on long trips, they were annoying. I removed them and put the stock mufflers back on. Anymore, Im tired of hearing everyone's exhausts and stereos and I used to be one of the worst offenders out there on BOTH counts!! A little rumble is nice, but I don't need to hear a bike 1/4 mile away.

    There's a reason why they have to pay you to sit through those things. I wouldn't even go to it. Time shares are horrible. The fees are ridiculous. They're impossible to get rid of and as soon as you default, they sue you and win.

    Is it the California Lotto or is it the Mega Millions? Mega Millions is up to 540million today. Everyone at the shop put in 10 bux into a pool to buy tickets so we have 70 chances to win. 540,000,000 divided between 7 people is still pretty good.

    It looks like the motorcycle is lane splitting, which is legal in Brazil. Look at the beginning of the video and the SUV's front wheels are already turned like he was trying to squeeze the motorcycle. Motorcycle guy looks back back like "WTF!!!" and kicks SUV fender. SUV guy goes ballistic and tries to murder motorcycle guy. SUV guy needs a bullet in his cranium. Actually, read the description under the video, that's exactly what happened!!
