    The RSTD mufflers have chrome extensions on them that the Venture mufflers do not. I personally have not heard of any chroming problems on the mufflers except where they've been scratched.

    It's originally and "double headed" bolt. They tighten them down until the top head breaks off. It is an antitamper device. I swapped the key cylinders in mine so that I still use the original key. Some get a new key with the ignition on 1 side and the bags and trunk on the other, but it's not difficult to swap the cylinders.

    What kind of performance are you looking for? Better acceleration? More top end? Wheelies? The Dyna3000 will allow you to raise the rev limiter and advance the ignition curve some.

    What year/make/model? There was a recall about head gaskets for 1 year of the Venture. Sounds like the carbs are messed up, probably need to reseat them in the manifolds, check the vacuum caps, and resync them.

    Take the 4 nuts off the final drive and remove it. The tire and wheel will come right out the left side then under the saddlebag mounts.

    I don't know what bike you have, but I can change out the rear tire on my 99 Venture while it is sitting on the center stand.

    What size wire is being used? What size fuse? Amperage x Voltage = Wattage 12v x 15amp fuse = 180 watt potential assuming the wiring is heavy enough to carry a constant 15 amp load.

    It's all in how one rides. Acceleration, downshifting, rear braking, etc...

    I'd like to see video of that. I know that I can't stand on my boards while riding.

    Depends on the rider. At lot of the iron butt riders prefer bikes with the mid mount pegs because they can lift their butt off the seat while riding. Can't do that on the Venture.
