How do you know it's pulling a vacuum? When it stops, are you having to pull the cap open and getting a "whoosh" noise when the seal finally breaks?

I just reread it and realized you mentioned you didn't have access to anything small enough to push through. Your best best would be as Goose mentioned. You could probably just use the red tube itself to push through vent.

If it is the vent nipple itself on the tank, a piece of stiffer wire should clear it right out. Remember to leave the cap off at night so that the difference in temps doesn't cause a vacuum in the tank and cause it to collapse if you don't have it fixed by bedtime.

  5. My 99 has allen head bolts on the caliper guides.
  6. So the head is rounded out. That's MUCH BETTER than stripped threads. I have a set of Snap On Extractors that would make very short work of this problem. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=77413&group_ID=1262&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
  7. Vise grips? Is the bolt stripped or is the head rounded? Stripped means the threads are boogered up, Rounded means there are no corners left on the head of the bolt.
  8. Some 180's will fit depending on the profile but all you're really doing is pissing money down the drain. The wheel is designed to hold a 150, you put a wider tire on it and you increase the crown of the tire and loose contact patch causing the tire to wear faster in the middle.
  9. My little key hole cover on my fuel tank cap rattles if it's not in the proper position.
  10. Try spinning it with the rear caliper off and see if the noise is still there.
  11. I wish you were closer. I could come pick you up with my trailer, if the trike wasn't over 5ft wide. Im about an hour south of Louisville.
  12. I know a couple people who have been taken off those medications by switching to an ultrahigh protein/ ultra low carb diet. Of course these were Type 2 Diabetics which is actually Insulin Resistance. My brother is a Type 1. It almost killed him at 12 years old. His pancreas just shut down. He's been on shots ever since.
  13. Branson West Power Sports is a Kawasaki dealer that sells Yamaha watercraft. They're also closed on Mondays.
  14. The same thing happened to Seaking when he overheated his clutch during a low speed class. He'll need a new spring and new clutch discs. He might be able to get by with just a new spring to get him home, but I would assume that whatever is needed, he won't be able to get it locally so he might as well do the whole shebang while it's apart. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51166 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=48033&highlight=clutch
  15. Doubtful, also, air in the line would cause it to stay engaged all the time.
  16. Has anyone called him and told him is clutch is burnt up yet?
  17. Yes, it will fit just fine.
  18. It's a standard lead acid battery. WPS = Western Power Sports. I can't find where they're manufactured.
  19. Probably because he has his wife on the back and he doesn't want to end up dead in the middle of nowhere because some drunk driver decided it would be better to finish the job instead of talking to the Bronze.
  20. I posted this on my FaceBook a couple weeks ago. They're in Australia. The guy riding the bike is a writer for some motorcycle rag down there. The truck was way over the center line. The motorcyclist was doing nothing wrong. Here's the article on GizMag's site with some still photos of the close call. http://www.gizmag.com/close-call-bmw-s1000rr/19667/
  21. Ive almost completely ground through the feelers on the bottom of my boards.
  22. Lynn hasn't been on since July 16 of this year. I searched "Pegscraper" and haven't seen any news about him.

  24. He still hasn't been back on yet.
  25. Sell it and buy another one when you come back.
