unfortunately for me, I have to find a helmet big enough first. Every 3x helmet I tried squished my face. I found a helmet company by the name of Vega. They had good reviews and they offer a 4x and 5x size. I ordered a 4x and it is tight. Ive been wearing it ever since I received it. The more I wear it, the more I like it. Ive done a couple of small rides without it and was uncomfortable. Figger that one out.

If you offered it with a 30 day money back guarantee, I bet you'd sell alot more.

and then, next spring when you're riding, and the head comes loose and locks the motor up and you go down, you wont be able to recover any damages from Yamaha because you were informed about the recall. Most likely, your insurance wont cover it as well because you were informed about the recall and you chose to operate it despite Yamaha's warning. Take the bike in next spring. Take plenty of pics. Become good friends with the service manager and the tech who will be working on your bike. Buy them some Pizza for lunch. This recall is not near as bad as the recall on the 2nd gear circlip in the Roadstars and the Warriors a few years back. That covered 4 years of Roadstars and involved an entire tear down of the engine and splitting the cases. BTW.... When you find the perfect bike with no recalls and absolutely no quirks, please come back and let us all know about it. I have yet to here about a bike without some form of a "problem" one way or another.

I'd get a Cobra 38 instead http://www.cobra.com/index.php?page=shop/flypage&product_id=97&id=1 and then for helmet use, you can get any of the 2 pin headsets or earbuds that are pretty common. All the 2 pins are interchangeable between brands. http://cgi.ebay.com/Full-face-Helmet-Headset-for-Icom-Stardard-Cobra-2-pin_W0QQitemZ170165697304QQihZ007QQcategoryZ48707QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and the 12 volt power cord to plug into a cig lighter is only 7 bux. http://www.cobra.com/index.php?page=shop/flypage&product_id=223&id=1 That's what I would do.

I live in Amarillo, TX. I can see the windmills in Vega from my front porch. That's 40 miles away. If I get up on a tuna can I can see Lubbock 120 miles away. The roads here are flat and straight. If we get 4 inches of rain in a day, it floods and 2 or 3 people will die. I did get to ride some roads that weren't completely straight a couple of weeks ago down in the Turkey/Silverton area though.

The father doesn't care about the money. He just wants there "people" to not show up to funerals and disrupt a private service. This lawsuit also opens up all the other families to sue. There may be no money involved, but all of their resources will go to defending themselves now.

I would break in it hard. It sets the rings better. We all went through this with our Roadstars. Everyone was asking how to break it in. Most said, break it in like how you're going to ride it.

just got the email.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071031/ap_on_re_us/funeral_protests I personally hopes this completely bankrupts this "church" and ruins this inbred family's life.

just noticed the 1" long part, most of these will be 3-6 inches long.

You may wanna look at some shocks off a Nitro R/C truck. http://attr-search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&alist=a42078%2Ca6&from=R10&pfmode=2&gcs=1400&a6=10176&a42078=34888&pfid=1701&_trksid=m37&satitle=shocks&sacat=116070%26catref%3DC6%26curcat%3Dtrue&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=79108&sabfmts=1&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search

Change your oil as often as you like. I personally do it every 3-4000 miles or once every 6-8 weeks.
-
Ive done that, but that was before the backrest. I won't try it with the backrest in place.

what is this "end of riding season" that you speak of? If there's no snow on the road, it's open season for me. Can't afford to not ride the bike.

Are you mounting them yourself or is Sharp's going to do it for you? You may wanna check their prices mounted compared to buying them online and paying them to mount them. It cost me a little more to get my back tire through them, but I saved that in labor by having them mount it.
