  1. I've had my Stebel horn mounted by the orginal horns location for the last 6 years without any problems from heat or the horn not working. Using my wire harness puts the relay next to the battery box so it's practicaly in a water proof location plus the prong end of the relay is pointing downward so there's even less chance of water getting into the relay. Larry
  2. Keeping my thoughts & prayers going for the little guy. Larry
  3. So good to hear of David's improvements. With family & us here at VR praying for him, his determination to get better, the prayers are surely being heard by the Lord in Heaven. Thanks to all who can visit him and encourage David to keep going. Keep these great reports coming folks. Larry
  4. Ya right. Betting Jeannie has something to say about that. Larry BTW: I knew what Joe was up to when he posted the 1st post too.:stirthepot: with a big stick I might ad.
  5. Looking good there. The pin stripping adds that bit of extra detailing to help make your ride stand out from the crowd besides calling it your own. Well done. Larry
  6. What's the reward? I know where it's at. He did say he stole it ya know. Larry
  7. No contest. Mine was mailed Wednesday. You should of had it by now but being out in the sticks with slow mail who knows when you'll get it. Guess you'll be waiting a while too. Larry
  8. Enjoy you B-Day Peggy. Hope it's a good one too. Larry
  9. Hey Gerald good to hear Ramona wasn't in the car thou it sucks to have to pay for someone elses stupidity. The guy was probably drunk when he hit it as well. One of my pet peeves is drivers either under the influance or no insurance or making matters worse both. Hope you get it straightened out without too much expense on your part. Larry
  10. You too?? I already sent him his request as well. Hmmm? Doubt they're the same thou. I feel like I'm a enabler here feeding Don his chrome addiction. Larry
  11. I've seen what those tires can do to cars let alone a bike so am always watching for stuff like this but in the end sometimes you just can't win. That fellow was very lucky he was riding solo. A passenger would of gotten some serious hurt there I'd think. Oh Dan with your batting average with them insurance companies I hardly doubt you'd be able to get one bike let alone several. Just saying friend. Larry
  12. This was sent to me today and I found it was pretty neat so am sharing it here. Larry This is REALLY amazing! All projected onto the side of a building. Very, very cool. Clever LG ad shown on a Berlin building... just click this link to start the video if you have a player installed on your computer...
  13. Talk about going out with a BANG. Larry
  14. Can't offer any advice but I am another one who upgrades those stock horns. Put a Wolo under the hood of the family car. Larry
  15. Enjoy you B-Day Brad. I hope the following year will be as good or better for you as this one has been. Larry
  16. Sounds interesting to me. Even a day ride to say a cider mill would be good. Saturday and Sunday show mid to upper 60* temps but there is a chance of showers both days. When & how much doesn't show yet on http://www.accuweather.com/us/mi/wayne/48184/forecast-details.asp?fday=6 Larry
  17. Thanks to all who was able to atend our ride this weekend. Without you being there it wouldn't be as much fun. As always it's great to meet new folks from the board as well as old friends. I put on just shy of 600 miles over the weekend. Some did more, some less but all were good miles with near perfect weather. Some of those roads had been a long time for me to have been on so it was refreshing to see those areas again. Tree colors were at a good peak too. Made for nice senic riding, especialy along some of the country lanes we were on. Had a good time on the beach, saw the Badger car ferry come in , a lad catching some nice sized fish, and watching the sun set. In Dublin there was a cool bike a fellow was riding too. Country roads were awesome with color. Larry
  18. It's great to see another international guest enjoying our country. Larry
  19. For my trike I went with a rear tire mounted in the normal direction. My prefence was for the thread pattern to shed water in the normal way. I used a Dunlop 404. Larry
