  1. Looking good John. You'll love the stability once you get used to its handling quirks. Enjoy the trikers world. Larry
  2. Guy didn't even attemp to clean them up either and on top of that wants to profit on shipping costs?????? No way. Larry
  3. Sorry to hear of your Fathers accident. Hopefully you'll soon be hearing good results from the Doc's. Till then thoughts & prayers for him & family. Larry
  4. I didn't see a door for the scoot. So I guess it's not a true toy hauler? Nice camper btw. Larry
  5. Oh my Lonna is another year younger now. No matter just the same. Wishing you many more Lonna. Enjoy your special day. Larry
  6. I had a big water puddle yesterday in my back yard which is very rare here. Yep flood warnings all over wherever there's a creek flowing, especially in the downriver areas near Lake Erie. Got up this morn to just a trace of snow on the ground and may get more by tonight. Winter is upon us now. :-( Larry
  7. Like evryone else who has posted so far Joyce & I are happy to see you making some great progress in your recovery. Don't let any speed bumps along that recovery road slow you down as they will only be a short set back. We'll be looking forward to seeing you & Rose again sometime somewhere down the road. Get well my friend. Larry
  8. The balance point with most jacks will be when the left lift arm is aligned with the exhausts heat shield. Of course this can vary depending on just how much "stuff" there is in the bags and trunk (if you have a Venture). Just move the jack fore or aft to get that balance point. You'll know when that happens once the tires leave the ground. Larry
  9. Looks like he's one happy camper on it. I know you both will really be enjoying riding it. Larry
  10. Having been in those decision making shoes its not a decision taken lightly. May John rest in peace with the Father with Jeanie at his side. Prayers for all and thanks for letting us know. Larry
  11. Yea you've only been gone a few months and already it seems so long ago. There's still a lot of this country you haven't seen yet so that's a good excuse as any to revisit us again. Heck there's places I've never been but I'm slowly working on that. Larry
  12. Glad to hear you & Mike missed that connection with that wayward driver. It just goes to show you can never let our guard down when we're riding the bikes. Not even in the car for that matter. Congrads on your anniversary as well, wishing you both many more. Larry
  13. It's good to see Dan is improving daily, even if it's baby steps. We'll keep Dan, Rose, & family in our thoughts & prayers till he's back to his regular self. Keep the good news coming Bummer. Larry
  14. If Don hadn't renewed your membership either I or someone else would have done it for you. We're not going to let you get away this easy you know. to you. Larry
  15. She's smiling . Ya all think she has her bike now? Hope no one from the site had problems due to the weather. Larry
  16. Can the US be far behind? Interesting concept thou. Probably costs more then the paper variety but should last longer so may well be cost effective. I'm with Brad on this as well since I see so few of those 100 bills it wouldn't make a difference to me. :-( Larry
  17. Your the host Don. Do what is best for you. We'll be there regardless of date picked. Larry
  18. Good for you Gil. It's better for you to retire on your terms rather then someone elses. And ya once you get a taste of retirement and then return to work it can be tough, especialy in the summer. Larry
  19. I took out a brick chimmeny 3 years ago that wasn't being used anymore. My house is single story built in the early 40's, but we loved gaining the extra space in the kitchen. It wasn't load bearing either. Oh ya bricks came apart very easliy too. Larry
  20. Bobbie hope you have a great day Larry
  21. payment sent for 2 bells. Larry
  22. I could be persuaded to purchase a couple more since the extras I had were given away. Larry
  23. A four post car lift or perhaps a trike lift. Here's one I've been looking at -- http://www.naautoequipment.com/motorcycle-lifts.html#m1300-trike
  24. Randy go here to check out my ads -- http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=500&ppuser=161 Any questions either pm me here on the site ofr contact me thru e-mail at lskeels@wowway.com Larry
  25. Michigan has been getting a lot of those type barriers too. Much cheaper for the state then the guardrail or concrete types. Bad enough hitting one in a car but dread ever getting in contact with them in a bike accident. Don't think the outcome would be very good regardless of the gear you would have on. Larry
