  1. WOW what coincidence. My wife & I just welcomed our first great grandson into family early this morning. 4am to be exact. Yep feeling old here to. Larry
  2. When I had my "05" I gutted the radio and then reinstalled the box after sealing holes. Instant cubby at literally no cost but time. Larry
  3. Thanks for this info Don. Good thoughts & prayers offered up. Larry
  4. Hoping for good news on your next report Puc. Yep them Docs can be a tricky lot at times. I think they like throwing those curve balls sometimes. Just to keep you on your toes. Turn a wrench or two to get ready for riding season as well as keeping worries at bay. Prayers up for you & Tipp. Larry
  5. Heather this is not the news we like to hear here. Thankfully you're here to tell us. God Bless you with quick & successful healing. Larry
  6. I had a 68 Spitfire, fiberglass tank with dual curbs. Basically a Royal Star.
  7. Nice lunch & meet today guys.
  8. 1:00 it is then See you guys Sunday.
  9. Bob beat me posting the menu. If that isn't enough to convince folks to join us then I just don't know what else to do. After all we're a eating club that rides.
  10. I think I have my fair share of those tools.
  11. 6 confirmed with me, Randy, Bob+ our better halves. Sure would be nice if you & Tipp can make it Puc.
  12. Randy we had lunch today at Primanti Bros. What with road construction going on lets hope most or all is done by meet time. Yep those are BIG sandwiches. Sunday noon - 1pm is good for us too. Now to get a head count. Larry
  13. I'm still in for the meet. Bob have you picked a date when you'll be here in Mi.? Primanti Bros where's that at Randy? Larry Found it Randy, gonna check it out. Reread Bobs 1st post so looks like either 29 or 30 would be best.
  14. I should be around. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Larry
  15. Get it Dan. Offset the costs by thinning out your 1st gen bikes & parts. Once you go 3 wheels you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Larry
  16. Nice bike Dave. You & Sue will enjoy that ride.
  17. Is that yours Mother?
  18. I never rode a H-D Tri-Glide but having owned two Venture trikes, one 05 Venture / solid axle Tri-Wing and a Hannigan based 09 Venture the ride comfort of the independent axle Hannigan can't be beat. Being wider & longer the performance & handling is superior to any straight axle set up too. Larry
  19. Jay try a local Fastenal store. You can sub that type of head for a Torx type too.
  20. http://www.autoblog.com/2016/09/11/lazareth-lm847-maserati-v8-motorcycle-video/?ncid=txtlnkusaolc00000752&kwp_0=225384&kwp_4=889323&kwp_1=433586
  21. Yep that'll smart for a while but sure glad it wasn't worse and you're still here to tell us about it. Praying for a quick recovery. Larry
  22. Finally getting some computer time to post my take of this years International Rally. We got home around 6pm after a short stop at the daughters house to pick up our mutt. Crossed the Ohio/Michigan state line at 5pm after a 9 hour run from the Canann Valley Resort. Like Jay said no rain till just before getting to Bridgeport, WV on US50. From there it was on and off rain till getting to Toledo, Oh. Some were pretty heavy downpours too. Other than this you couldn't have asked for better weather during the weeks rally. Now as to the rally itself Chuck & his wife did an absolutely amazing job setting up this years rally. Everything from pre-registration to the final banquet ran smoothly, thou Chuck may have gotten few more grey hairs along the way. LOL As noted by others the area that was chosen by Chuck was a great choice as there were great roads to ride on & enough local attractions to please most everyone. Best of all the folks who chose to attend this years rally were great company. Its always good to meet new and older VR members at these functions. Bottom line, Thanks Chuck for a great weeks worth of fun. Larry
  23. We arrived home at 6pm. Followed Rags till we made our turn off to our home. Black sky's and some lightning off to the north sure wasn't looking good for a while there but got around all that. As always the WNY gang did another great job putting this rally together. Larry
  24. Jay PM or call me. Your travel plans are matching mine so far. Larry
