  1. He knows that trailer well as he saw it in action with Annie hauling it around Cody,Wy last summer. What a lucky guy indeed. Larry
  2. Still informative info , both pro & con. Larry
  3. I agree with Andy
  4. Yes cause it's true what the dealer told you. Some folks compare the sound to an angry sewing machine. Larry
  5. Retirement is pretty much what the guys have said. You do need stuff to keep busy with, otherwise you'll go nuts. I keep busy enough with projects in the garage (mostly during winter) and try to have as much free time in summer to ride & travel when we want. Family activities keep us on the go too going to grand kids hockey and foot ball games. It's like was said earlier, I wonder how I ever found time to put in a 8 hr day of work and still get stuff done around home. For me I love this retirment thing as I can pretty much do what I want when I want. Ya no alarm clocks either unless I want to get up earlier. Larry
  6. For a fact. Hate them myself & will never use one except as an nemergency fix till a proper connection can be done later. Larry
  7. This is the kind of news no parent wants to hear. Thoughts and prayers to you & family during these trying times Larry
  8. Thanks for the heads up
  9. Have used Amsoil syn 10-40 in the past but currently using Mobil 1 mc oil Racing 4T syn. Mainly because it's easier to find and slightly cheaper to boot. Larry
  10. I've done the same thing on my bike as well. No secondary bypass switch thou bcause the high beam being on a seperate part of the circut is still operable. Plus I still have driving lights if both should fail. Larry
  11. Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 oil changed @ 5k along with a new filter
  12. Boy Jay you sure been having some electrial fun lately. Still have any hair left? Seriously just take a deep breath and start back at step one tracing the lights circut being sure each step is good from power source to ground. AND make sure the bulbs are good too. Larry
  13. Got a buddy looking for one. Send more info to lskeels@wowway.com Larry
  14. I'll 2nd this as well. Sure I miss the two wheelers now and then but also know in my heart triking was the best way to go for me as well. Currently I have close to 50 k on my bike with 30 k of that on 3 wheels. Larry
  15. Soon as I get some time to make the drawings and do the write up I'll put up a new post. However if you're in need of the info right away I'll send some info to you sooner rather than later. Larry
  16. Yes you could do that but it's much easier to flip a switch rather than reaching down and fiddling with a pair of mechanical valves. When on the slabs doing 70 and you run out on one tank the time it takes to switch valves could really reduce your speed a lot causing someone to run up on you. Flipping a switch is much easier and faster. Just my thoughts here is all. Larry
  17. Try here - http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=3730&title=carbon-one-arm-rests&cat=24 Any questions just ask. Larry
  18. Could be right or NOT. Time will tell. Larry
  19. I made my own tank due to none available for my Tri-Wing triked kit. Included in the set up is a electric fuel pump, filter, and a fuel shut off solenoid. The way it works is when the auxiliary tank is being used the stock fuel pump is shut off. When the stock pump is being used the auxiliary fuel pump is shut off and the solenoid is turned on. The purpose of the solenoid is to prevent the auxiliary pump from pushing fuel thru the stock pump and into the stock gas tank. It's all controlled with a switch and relay. Really simple system thou it may not sound like it. I'll be doing a write up in the near future on this but if you want more detailed info now let me know. Larry
  20. Snow? We haven't seen snow here in over a month other then a few lost flakes. Here is s.e. Michigan of course. BUT I'm sure you'll not miss the cold or snow too much. Good luck on your move. Larry
  21. Yep besides the hitch I built for Jay (see his post above for pics) We're doing a top secret project. Pics and info to follow at a later date. Larry
  22. I just checked Jays bike and that differential is mounted rock solid to the frame. No way for it to move at all so my only thought on that is Hannigan says what they say for safety concerns due to it being off-center and allowing the rear end to tillt. Larry
  23. Didn't jack up the Hannigan trike by the differential but don't understand Hannigan's no-no on that. I've jacked up cars & trucks many times over the years by the differentials without any ill effects. And they weigh a whole lot more then these trikes do. Larry
  24. Looking forward to seeing it when you get it home. Enjoy the ride. Larry
