  2. Now this is really starting to get interesting!! Don't know how we'll be able to wait for a whole year to see the results. :rotf: Larry
  3. I'm sure he is, after all you gotta live up to your handle. At least the second half. Hope you heal up quickly thou I know how long it takes for these old bodies take to get back 100%, if that. Larry
  4. I have a rack I mount behind the trike for either a cooler or luggage for shorter weekend trips. It does block most of the license plate but have never been stopped yet by any LEO's. There's a lot of cars running the same set up so I'm inclinded that the law is pretty lenient even if it's against the rules to block a license plate from view. It's not like one is trying to hide the plate from view to begin with.
  5. Prayers for Bob to get well soon and for Becky to ease her fears of Bob being sick. Being the tough ole bird he is I'm sure he'll back to his normal self soon. Larry
  6. Yea plans were changed several times during the day. WE only got as far south as US-127 & US 12. Next there will be more notice for any gatherings. This was just too short to let folks know. I just knew Jay was going to be busting Joe on that park bench pics. :rotf:Of course I probably gave him the idea as I was teasing Joe prior to the pic. Larry
  7. K Rider you're probably more the typical rider than you think. I'm like a lot of the other fellows here that enjoy all kinds of roads . But in scenic areas I like to slow down and enjoy the sights. Can't do that as easy tearing down the road where you have to pay attention to the road and traffic. Larry
  8. Well well look whos another year older today? Enjoy your special day. Larry
  9. Taking the bulb out will tell you for sure it's either it or the wiring downstream. So if there's a problem with wiring and bulb is out it will still blow fuses. Larry
  10. I would start checking the wiring from the bulb inside the fairing and work back from there. Sounds like there's a pinched or grounded wire on the high beam circut. The problem could also be in the left switch housing with the rocker switch itself. Proper sized fuse? Larry
  11. Yep that's the place Joe. Carl we may well take you up on that offer. Do we need to print and fill out the rider waiver forms prior to attending or do you have forms available at site? Larry UPDATE: Printed out forms and did some reading thru the Star site.
  12. Yes it's a very hideous disease and one I've been familar with in our family over the years as well. Peace to your family and you James Larry
  13. Who wants to get together for a ride this Saturday? Or Sunday if that's prefered? Maybe meet for breakfast or along a route somewhere. Thinking of going out to the Irish Hills area, perhaps lunch at the sports bar & grill at US-12 & US 23. Depending on who wants to attend we can alter meet locations as well as where we go. Maybe a nice ice cream stop before the days over. Larry
  14. , Mini! I know you'll be a good girl today. Larry
  15. She's got a point there Boss. You know trouble can come in small packages. Mini being a perfect example. Maybe it's time to yurn the tables on some of these pranksters? Larry
  16. Ain't that the truth. Since converting my bike to a trike I can see myself riding for as long as I'm able to drive anything. Larry
  17. Prayers sent out for Rlic & family. Larry
  18. I run 20 lbs in my trailer tires, 12" rims. Trailer sway like you're getting I think has more to do with, either or both, tongue length or tongue weight on the hitch ball. Try putting more weight forward or lengthening the tongue. That should solve your high speed wiggle. Oh one more thing to check is the axle , looking to be sure it is square with the frame. Larry
  19. Went last year for the first time and really enjoyed seeing St. Judes. Anyhow the calendar is marked so will try to make it again. Larry
  20. 65 last January
  21. Hope to see his shadow at the least. Larry
  22. Been in for a while now as well. Really really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Larry
  23. Good to see ya getting around better Yammer Dan. Ya it does take longer to heal when we're older. By now I'm sure your're back to working on that man cave. Looking forward to the next hundred or more posts of ya working to get're done. Missed seeing you at MD. And everyone else too. Larry
  24. I'll second that. Larry
  25. Yep I've seen some of those characters before. Sure hated to miss this years event too. Larry
