Well we had a great early weekend. Or was that a late weekend? Gotta love retirement. Didn't do much riding up there so all my mileage was getting there and back home, 610 miles to be exact. Spent Wednesday on the Island and later that night watched an excellent fireworks display over the bay. Weather was near perfect except some light rain. Left the city about 10 am and had intermittent rain till we got below Cheboygan. From there sun was out and warning up. Temps were good going up, while we were there, & mostly coming home but now facing 100* & high humidity tomorrow. Now to get ready for the International. Larry

I used my stock mufflers but cut out a 6" section when the angled piece welds on to the tube. Mainly due to the mufflers being too long. The end result was that I got a bit more sound but not so loud to be a distraction. Don't know of any trike specific mufflers thou. Or what mufflers other trike companies use. Larry

Joyce & I are heading north in the morning. Destination - Mackinaw City, Mi. I'll be on the slab till I get past Bay City then hit 33 all the way to Lake Huron & on to the Big Mac. Should have 15* cooler temps up there so going to just kick back and enjoy the area. Larry

$38 here in Michigan which also included $15 for my personalized plate. Yep those sniffer laws just lines the pockets of the testers. We used to have them for cars here but they finally dumped them. Larry

Those don't matter here either. As far as the OP goes nothing more needs saying than what has already been done previously. Larry

Clutch lever pivot bushing

Don't have the left lever after all. Someone else must of been in need of one. Got the right side lever. No bushing in that one. Larry -
Clutch lever pivot bushing

If it's a stock lever you want I should have one since I changed mine out shortly after getting the bike for chrome levers. Send me a pm with your address and I'll send it out tomorrow. A couple weeks ago I had to replace the push rod bushing as it was worn enough to get some slop in it. Larry -
Yep it was great seeing and chatting with Tom again. Last time we meet was at the Arkansas International rally. We'll hook up again at the NY Rally in a few weeks. Oh yea no more of those pucker episodes eh!! We'll let Tom tell the tail. Larry

I hear ya Jeff. I just sent a lift adapter to a member in Colorado Springs so I'm assuming he's still got a safe home. Sure hope so & stays that way. Very sad to see that area as well as others going up in smoke. Those areas out west are beautiful or was but after its done in a few years it'll grow back. At least we can be optimistic and only hope there's no loss of life. Larry

My "05" Midnight shows both MPH & KPH as shown in the above pic. Thanks for the seat info Treecol. Awesome design by the guy who did that. Larry

I'll 2nd the Squid. I did my valves at the 50K and only found 3 valves that were off of center spec wise. There was one that was on the tight side so after swapping shims around plus exchanging a couple at the dealer I was good to go. I don't think I'll need to do this job again till another 50K is on the clock. A couple other bikes I worked on this past winter had the same results. Larry

I was/am having a similar problem. Tonight after getting home from a ride I decided to check all the cable adjustments. Found that the adjustment on the vacuum autuator to be loose. I'll know tomorrow if that did the trick fixing mine. Larry
