  1. You're right Wrench the 01 Volusia had the same color theme. Actual paint was a slightly different shade for both the red and black but for the most part were candy red over a black metalic.
  2. Awesome Annie. We too are looking forward to seeing ya all again Larry
  3. Currently you only have 2 choices for a trike conversion for the RSV's. Those being Hannigan and Triwing. Triwing will sell you just the kit and let you save by doing the install yourself. Hannigan is a strictly dealer installed option. Larry
  4. Sorry but the shock on my 09 has been spoken for. Larry
  5. Sorry the shock has been spoken for long ago by Jay- Ragtop69gs. Larry
  6. Tx I would say the average trike would be at least $12 1/2k. I'm expecting to spend about 14k total as I'll be adding running boards. I'm going to keep the same paint theme ( Sorry Jay but florescence orange won't cut it).
  7. New to me 09 to replace the 05 RSV/Tri-wing trike I totaled out a while back. By spring time it will be converted into a trike by Hannigan. First pic is loaded up for the trip home. Rest are taken today at home. Let the modding begin. Larry

  9. Welcome from another Michigan member down in the south east corner by Detroit Metro Airport. Great ride you had this summer and thanks for sharing. I also have a "83" that I've been tweeking a bit. Hopefully I'll have it where I want it come spring. Today I just got home with a "09" 2nd gen that's getting some changes made during the winter so I'll be plenty busy enough.Hope you're close enough we can get together some. Later, Larry
  10. Sorry to hear of the problems at work Joe. Been there myself and it ain't fun. I'll also vouch for Joes RSTD as being as good as new, actually better IMHO. Somebodies going to get one hell of a nice bike that's for sure. Larry
  11. I'll 2nd the 110 led boards. Going to put those in the trike as soon as its done. Larry
  12. Been there. Done that. Now to wait for the results tonight. Larry
  13. Mike here's a link to check out-- https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=hts&oq=&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGNI_enUS464US464&q=SHOW+CHROME+LED+MARKER+LIGHTS The rectangle Show Chrome LED markers are a perfect fit for both front and rear reflectors. I use the yellow ones on my bike up front on the forks. Larry
  14. Ya I hear ya loud and clear on this. I actually retired twice. . First time when I was 52 from a career as a wrench for the county. Had the time in and if I stayed longer I would of lost some benifits so chose to bail and went to work full time as a wrench for a local golf course. After 8 years there management decided to cut wages by 25%. Just couldn't see doing that so quit. My second job now is providing folks here with products that enhances ownership of the RSV's/RSTD's. I keep busy enough that I don't want anonther career job. Larry
  15. Congratulations even if it wasn't on your terms. I went thru that myself and it sort of makes one wonder "Now What?". In the end it'll all work out. Now is the time to do the things you enjoy doing most, especially sharing time with family. Larry
  16. The guys addressed the issues fairly well. You will be getting a fine bike that'll give many trouble free miles yet. For the off chance it does need services the folks here can set you up with the needed info to get it back on the road. Larry
  17. Hannigan all the way this time around. You can stop by anytime if you want. It's not like I'm going anywhere. LOL Larry
  18. Will do Larry
  19. Oh don't worry Dan I've got plenty of work to do this winter besides getting my new ride trike worthy. But the new ride will take priority till I ge it where I want it. Larry
  20. Said goodby to the best bike I've ever owned this week. BUT those tears are going to be short lived as I've already have a replacement lined up and will be picking it up next weekend. Larry
  21. Sorry to burst the bubble BUT it weren't me. Sure wish I was able to ride just the same. As far as that sniper dude goes he'll make a mistake and get caught eventually. Sure hope no one else gets hurt before that though Larry
  22. Ya but they'll tell ya it smoothes out with some revs
  23. Look in the 2nd gen classifieds. Someone there has a 99 with sidecar for sale. Maybe get some pics from the current owner. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=4330&title=99-rsv-with-02-sidecar&cat=4 Larry
  24. Good to see he's well enough to be able to leave the hospital. Here's best wishes for a complete recovery
  25. This bike is in near mint condition. You won't find a used bike any cleaner than Joe keeps this one. It actually looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Larry
