  1. I think Saddlebum is on the right track. The compressor shows all the symptoms he mentioned. I have a 135 psi pop off valve that works properly. The unloader starts bleeding air off first on the bottom of the regulator and continues to do so till the tank is empty when the switch is turned off. With switch on it'll still continue leaking even after the motor kicks on & compressor builds pressure again, running continually at that point. I'll check that one way valve tomorrow. Thank all, Larry
  2. My garage air compressor started dumping air at the unloader valve last week. So I ordered a new regulator assembly which has a new unloader on it. Installed it but now I'm getting the same results. Any ideas guys? Larry
  3. The Parlour is about a good hours rides, longer if taking more back roads, from me. Always a treat going there. Hmmmm been a while since we took on a sundae, Maybe this weekend once storms roll thru the area. Anyone wanting to join / meet up there? Larry
  4. Ride safe friend. Looking forward to trip reports. See ya in a month or so. I'll save a few hotdogs for ya when you get back. Larry
  5. Thanks to you, Olin & Sharon and all other helpers for hosting this years rally. Sorry we bailed for home a day early cause I know we missed a good day riding & shared time with ya all Thursday. Thought it more prudent to get a head start in advance of the storms & tornado warnings that were being forecasted. Hope they bypassed your area thou. We'll definitely look you up if ever in your area again cause there's great roads to ride around you. Larry & Joyce
  6. Kill switch, side stand down while in gear?
  7. Another outstanding ride lead by Mike crossing over the great Mississippi river with a awesome stop at the American Pickers show shop Antique Archeology. Pretty interesting place. Then North for another river crossing with a stop for lunch & ice cream. ☺ From there more winding country roads back to the hotel. Thanks to Mike & Cheryl for putting a great meet. Oh yea the weather was good today too, mid 70's & mostly cloudy with spots of sunshine poking thru. Larry
  8. The guys all came in from dinner while I was posting here last night. Had an awesome ride today and now I know why Mike is so addicted to that root beer in Oglesby. It's flavor is certainly outstanding. 🙂 Perfect timing getting back to the hotel tonight too, as we started getting light rain after pulling in. Hopefully this front passes thru before morning so Mike can lead us on more of these country roads. Larry
  9. Holed up at the Comfort Inn tonight waiting for tomorrows fun on the Root Beer run. Haven't seen anyone from the site yet but there must be somebody cause there's a couple mc trailers tied up out front. Larry
  10. Maybe a thin strip of either brass or copper shim stock to take up the slack, then tighten the clamps.
  11. Wow Bob it's hard to believe she wasn't injured more after looking at those pics. Prayers she has few if any aftermath issues.
  12. Contact me Al. Have one & a few shim too. Larry
  13. Sounds like a great trip you have planned there Annie. We should see you & Al at the Root Beer stand. Safe & enjoyable travels.
  14. Sorry to hear of your loss. Peace to all who knew and loved him.
  15. Welcome back Gary. Looking to see see you again.
  16. I feel Linda's discomfort and anyone else who's been there done that. I just wet thru this myself Sunday with the test being done Monday morning. The first half gallon was tolerable but getting the rest down was a chore. I found mixing in some Crystal Light lemonade mix helped a lot. Still it was a tough go just the same. Oh yea my test results came back A OK. Good luck Linda. Larry

  18. Thanks to everyone who has congratulated us. Had a very leisure day with dinner out with family & time spent with them. Larry
  19. Well Joyce and I are celebrating another chapter in our life together. 50 years ago we were saying our I Dos and starting out our lives together for better or worse. Yep we hit some bumps along this road called life a few times but we hung in there and still going strong. Looking forward to what we share together in the future with the Lords blessings. Larry
  20. Puc the trailer hitch assembly is a completely different assembly from that rear bumper and lights. The bike did have a hitch when I bought it but that's gone on another VR members bike for a couple years now. Sorry If I recall the hitches use a different mounting between the MK I's & MK II's. Maybe not much thou. Larry
  21. I've driven one and like the styling. We considered getting one when we bought the Slingshot but for a couple reasons, one was the cramped seating for the passenger and the other was $$$$. 5-10k over the Slingshots. Lower costs, new machine with a warranty, more room / comfort won out for us. Larry
  22. All good advise from the previous posts. Baaloo depending on your location in Michigan we could get you squared away well before Don's MD. I'd willingly offer a hand helping get your bike running as it should. I'm down in the south east corner of Michigan. PM me for further information. Larry
  23. There's room between the rear fender & battery on a 2nd gen for small fuse box as well.
  24. Sorry to hear this about your hand Chuck. Best wishes with the healing.
  25. No idea but looks like a fun project.
