I got a trial size given to me as well. Haven't tried it yet though. Not even opened the box it came in. Gonna give the slingshot a bath before trying it

Another longtime reloader here. Been at it since early 70's. All handgun and rifle. Never shot enough shotguns to warrant the expense of reloading for them. All responses here hold true. Haven't been very active loading stuff last couple of years thou. My son just today was talking to me about teaching him about all this stuff. So I'll be dusting off the equipment now. Larry

My last deer was taken with my 44 Mag Ruger Blackhawk. Loved hunting with it toped off with a 2X scope. I've also own a .444 Marlin chambered in a Remington Rolling Block that's always been fun to hunt with, Barreled in a tapered half round / half octagon barrel in I think 18 or 20". In those close woods ranges a single shot was all about one could expect. Larry

That's a sweet gun and just about perfect for deer hunting in the woods. I had a model 660 laminated stock in .350 Magnum. Like a fool I sold it. Always wanted to get one in .308 too. Todays modern model is the model 7.

Thought I'd give an update on my compressor problem. I ordered a check valve and a gasket kit prior to going to the Ontario rally. A "O" ring in the head was leaking so I ordered a gasket kit plus the check valve looked questionable so replaced that as well. Got it all back together today and everything is functioning as it should be. Thanks to all who responded here. Larry

I think Saddlebum is on the right track. The compressor shows all the symptoms he mentioned. I have a 135 psi pop off valve that works properly. The unloader starts bleeding air off first on the bottom of the regulator and continues to do so till the tank is empty when the switch is turned off. With switch on it'll still continue leaking even after the motor kicks on & compressor builds pressure again, running continually at that point. I'll check that one way valve tomorrow. My garage air compressor started dumping air at the unloader valve last week. So I ordered a new regulator assembly which has a new unloader on it. Installed it but now I'm getting the same results. Any ideas guys? Larry
