  1. Ya things got a bit dicey at the end eh? Would of loved to see the Wings do them in much like they did to us several years back when the Wings were top dogs and the Hawks were still growing up. I tell ya what though the Black Hawks earned that series. Wasn't no walk in the park for them like the previous series was. It was do or die with their backs to the wall and they knew it being down 3-1. Still proud of this young team so am expecting them to do even better come next year. Larry
  2. Thanks guys for the good word here. Don as to the lack of advertising the arm rests I've made this spring has all been by requests. Of 10 sets having been made 8 were requested and have either been delivered or on their way to customers now. I'll probably post those on the board soon. Larry
  3. Cool Papatop. Where are you getting it done and where if I may ask? Larry
  4. Normally the Michigan crew and some Canadian's meet up at the truck stop just off of the south bound I-75 exit 15 near Monroe and then leave there around 10am. If we do that meeting Jeff/Flying Fool at Hy 2 in Ohio will give him a 20-30 minute butt rest till we get there. So who's all going to meet that Friday morning? I'll start a list here. Larry Jay Randy Adventure 08 (John)
  5. Great news for you and Mike. Party on. Larry
  6. Any decent auto parts store should have those bolts. A dab of blue Loctite and torqued down & you're good to go. Larry
  7. Been pondering making my own grill for a while myself and this post reminded me to get'r done so this afternoon I picked up some material to get started on it. Pics to follow whenever its completed. Larry
  8. I have a pair of the LED lights Jeff shows and they're pretty bright. They were on the bike when I bought it so left them on since they lighted up good. They're not a long range penetrating driving type but more of a wider spreading beam. I like them cause they light up both sides of the road well. Also I would say the lights reach is about the same as a normal low beam. Larry
  9. Offering up my :happy65:Congrats!! :happy65: as well Annie. In todays world we don't see quite as many with longevity like this. You guys have done well. Larry PS: Almost as many years as ours
  10. Adding arm rests to the bike for the pillion rider solves the feeling off falling off on curves. They give the rider something to lean on as well as being comfortable back there. My wife will nap or even read a book on long freeway riding, like the last 80 or so miles from MarCarls VentureIn this past weekend. Larry
  11. While I didn't serve due to my hearing loss I know I would of served if having given the chance and done so proudly like so many others here have done. I would of been another one of those Vietnam vets otherwise. Prayers to those who gave the ultimate price of serving as well as those who still are or may be in harms way. Proud of all military branches serving our great countries. Larry
  12. Ya we left anyhow with some drizzling rain hoping to get away from the front. Nope wasn't to be as by the time we got done eating it was raining harder. Still in the big picture here I had a great time sharing it with those Jay mentioned. Tip of the hat to Lori and Angel for coming anyway knowing they could get wet. Here's a couple pics before we left and was dryer. Larry PS: Just realized I took these pics before Angel and Lori arrived thus they aren't shown. Nice bike too and even nicer folks.
  13. Sent ya a PM Angel. No it wasn't me Saturday thou . Larry
  14. Thanks for the heads up Alfred. I for one will torque check those bolts the next time I'm doing a pre-check of the bike. I know it's a rare problem as I can't think of anyone else who has experienced a loose drive shaft but then again it only takes a one time to ruin your day or even a trip. Glad you were able to get it temporarily fixed on the road and didn't lose the shaft entirely. Larry
  15. Peg , . Make sure Buddy treats you good on your special day. Enjoyed seeing you guys at B2's M&E Larry
  16. Sad news indeed. Never easy losing a fellow biker let alone one of our own. RIP Pastor Paul Larry
  17. Jonesy hope all goes well with the check up. Better safe than sorry. We'll see you somewhere down the road eventually. Take care, Larry
  18. You'll be spoiled for sure now once you get that kit installed. I'm really happy I got the reverse installed during my Hannigan build. Larry
  19. I'll take one in XL Larry
  20. Smart choice too thou the more expensive option. Love mine. Larry
  21. You're right about their wiring Bob. I can think of at least 3 others besides myself who have totally rewired the lights. Larry
  22. We rolled into the drive today earlier this afternoon. We had left Do & Patti's place yesterday mid morning and had stopped in Indianapolis, In for dinner , then decided to stay the night so we could watch the Detroit Red Wings play against Chicago's Black Hawks. The boys in red played a great game winning it too. Hooray!!! Many thanks to Don & Patti for hosting such a great M&E. Larry
  23. Glad to see you made it home safely Bob. We rolled in earlier this afternoon ourselves. Took our time getting here after leaving the B2's yesterday. Time to renew the wiring on that trailer so you won't be going thru fuses in the future I'd say. Larry
  24. Having had mine converted recently I know you'll love it. Take some time getting familar with handling and be safe. Got any questions just ask away . We have a small but growing group of trikers here. Larry
  25. Ya I coulkdn't get mine out in the sun at all cause it was blocked in until we did the Dairy Queen run.
