  1. As Squidley said I just got home. Didn't answer e-mails as internet service was spotty at best at the resort. I'm dropping off some orders today and will e-mail or pm folks shipping info. Larry
  2. Andy I'm pretty sure I have a pair of stock links out in the garage. I'll look to verify tomorrow but their yours if you want them. Larry
  3. We got home about 6pm tonight as well. After spending the night near Gary Indiana we woke up to some heavy rain. So waited it out till about 10:30 when it quit and hit the road, Still ran into some light rain near the Michigan state line but once we headed east on the old Chicago road / US 12 we out ran it. Cloudy and cool but dry the rest of the way home. Larry
  4. Dan. Have a great day.
  5. Good post Boss. LMAO reading it. :rotf::rotf:Some even had to do the repairs twice and still may not of fixed it. We won't mention any names thou, right Ragtop? Larry PS: Just to let folks know I was behind Don on Tuesdays ride and didn't have to stop and pick up any loose parts. He did forget to latch a saddle bag lid that popped open before we got to town early in the days ride, but that was it.
  6. to you Patti. Wishing you a great day and many more B-Days.
  7. I can't really say if the smaller tire would help a non-racked front end or not, cause both of my trikes had the raked trees. Haven't ever heard of anyone using the smaller tire on a trike either. Different type of steering entirely anyhow with a trike over two wheels .Larry
  8. Something sure is out of wack. never had any traction problems with my trike regardless of how much water was on the road. I think you have either an alignment problem or tires over inflated or perhaps worn. Maybe even tire compound contrubiting unstableness. Larry
  9. Glad he made that far safely. We're in Joliet at FrankD's home. Just got back from dinner andstopping by a local car show. some pretty cars of all makes and years. Larry
  10. "Please go ahead and send in your registration, it will make things go so much faster at check in time!" Considering time restraints with snail mail I would think it best to send in any late registrations vie e-mail now. My worth. Larry
  11. With the route Ragtop & I are taking mileage would be right around 460 miles to Galena with an overnighter spent near Joliet. Taking the freeway straight thru would be even shorter and probably quicker but we want to avoid the toll roads and freeways as much as possible. Larry
  12. Hope your friend can recover from his accident. Prayers sent. Larry
  13. #30 should be the fused line from the battery, #87 is the power line going to whatever lights you're running. In this case the driving lights. For #85 I prefer that post to be the power side from a "key on" switch with #86 going to a on/off switch controlling the relay by doing the final grounding. Larry
  14. Will keep you in prayers and thoughts. Wishing the best of outcomes for you. Larry
  15. You might ask the same question(s) over at Trike Talk -- http://www.triketalk.com/ You want to know about trikes of any make and model then this is the place to go. Larry
  16. It's an interesting option if they do offer a kit for the RSV/RSTD bikes. Even the Vette body (which I like) added to the kit is less than what a Hannigan conversion would cost but of course you're saving a lot on labor. Give us a report on if you do go this route. Larry
  17. Best wishes and good luck for Nancy getting the job she wants. Larry
  18. I may have a set. Will check. Ok I have a set. PM me your address. Larry
  19. Here's a couple pics of the one I just made for myself. Larry
  20. I'll 2nd that as well. I would be willing to put some funds into a hat at the International rally for the SA fund that would of gone into the biding for the trailer. It'd be a win - win situation. The SA funds will get needed monies and Brad would get the trailer. Well deserved too I might add. Larry
  21. I've used mercury sticks. the Carb tune, and a set of 4 vacuum gauges. Personally I prefer the vacuum gauges. I've got one similar to this one --- http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Vacuum-Carburetor-Synchronizer-carb-sync-Gauge-GL-1100-1200-1500-Honda-CB-/380671986475 Larry
  22. Ya I don't want to have to get a bigger helmet as this one still fits good. Thanks for the good words everyone. Really I haven't done anything others have, so mostly paying it forward when I can. Patti I've been working on a new project too. Wonder if Don could use it? Larry
  23. Nope no new sets. Sorry. I believe Mike got one of the last ones I had from the last group. Larry
  24. Yep that would be Slowrollwv. Chuck is his name. Nice quality on his stuff too. Larry
  25. Well I know he's still active as I sent him a lift adapter this past week. So just what did you do Jack? Larry
