  1. Wheels look great. Are they a 5 lug bolt? I thought Hannigan used 4 bolt hubs/axles? Larry
  2. This is what I and a couple others use. https://www.denniskirk.com/emgo/chrome-universal-rectangular-mirror.p392718.prd/392718.sku They are much larger than stock and give a very clear view, solidly mounting to the bike with no need for adapters either. Larry
  3. Another fan of the strip, solder, & shrink tube connections. Sometimes I'll use the bare butt connecters but those get soldered and shrink tubed as well. Same with any terminals actually. I absolutely hate those Scotch lock connectors. I've seen nothing but problem where people have used them. Yea they're fast to do a job but rest assured you'll be chasing down electrical problems in the future. Ask Ragtop about them if he don't chime in here. LOL Larry
  4. Happy Birthday Michael. Enjoy your day:clap2:
  5. Have a great day today on your Birthday Kevin. Larry
  6. Like Puc says Chicago used to have tons of construction going on thou last year going to the international wasn't too bad. Personally I don't like going through any major city regardless where its at. Of course you'll always get caught up in traffic jams during peak travel hours and throw construction into the mix and you'll either sit or creep along. Grin and bear it as best you can or look for secondary roads to get around the big cities if you can. Larry
  7. Dan most any of us who've been down that road with accidents know full well how you're feeling right now. When those days come around and your gut feeling says no ride today you listen and wait for another time. Better safe than sorry later. Besides the riding season has just started to get going for most of us. Haven't even had mine out of the garage yet in fact due to roads and still a bit chilly here in Michigan. Larry
  8. Another happy Utopia owner. Diamond R offers another choice as well. I prefer the mounting system of the Utopia model because you can remove the pillion seat if needed without having to take off the backrest. I think it is a stronger bracket due to bolting directly to the bikes frame too. Larry
  9. When I ordered my Tri-Wing kit for the "05" they offered a choice of either 4 or 5 bolt hubs. 5 bolt axles were slightly more $$$. Tri=Wing also gave a choice as to axle ratios for the Ford axles, either 3:42 or 3:73 ratios. Larry
  10. Happy B-Day Dan. Man I bet you've celebrated your birthday all over the country at one time or other seeing how you get around so much. Regardless enjoy it wherever you are. See ya down the road sometime. Larry

    Strike

    Is that good or bad?
  12. A lot of hot air!! Larry
  13. That's great there'll be several of us trikers there attending. Myself, BongoBobNY, Ragtop69GS, and our host B2Dad & B2Mom, Bones I think, and maybe a couple others. Plus the normal run of RSV's, RSTD's and other branded bikes. Larry
  14. That's a nice clean Midnight. I'll give it a Enjoy it. Larry
  15. It sure looks like one of Hannigan's Triple Trees to me as well. Take a look at the distances between the rear of the front fender and the radiator. If it's more than about three inches it has an aftermarket triple tree on it. I don't know the exact distance of a stock tree (3"?) but Hannigan's tree will be about 5" from the chrome tip to the lower cowling. Hope this helps Larry
  16. Have fun on your trip. Drop a line or give me a call when you get home. Larry
  17. Hmmm!! Dual pedals for the rear brakes. Sounds interesting especially for riding in the twisties. What ya say John? Want to give it a go? The body is still off so it shouldn't take much to configure this. The install is coming along nicely and should get the hitch back today from the powder coaters. A little wiring to finish up and then the body can go back on. Larry
  18. Awesome news Patricia. Congratulations to you and especially Mike for his hard work. That is a well deserved pay raise. Larry
  19. Welcome to the VR site and the world of three wheelers. The guys have given you some great info so far. Nothing I can add to at the moment anyhow. If your bike doesn't have the raked trees then adding them will greatly reduce steering effort. Well worth the costs and trouble of installing them IMHO. Larry
  20. Sending up my thoughts and prayers as well. Knowing a loved one, especially a parent, is soon to be with the Lord is tough on everyone but as long as you and family keep her in your heart she'll always be with you. Larry
  21. Looking sharp there David. Welcome to the 3rd wheel world. Larry
  22. Will keep him and family in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully the Docs can get him turned back around on the road to recovery. Larry
  23. Another order added on. Larry
  24. Sorry to hear of her problems Randy. We'll put her, you, & family in our thoughts and prayers. Larry
  25. A set of Mike's Diamond Cut Fins would really set it off too. Larry
